123. I love that song! It's so beautiful! I think that part of the movie was one of the best! ...I also like "Somewhere Out There" as well and hate the romantic duet that they made of it mostly because Fievel and Tanya are brother and sister.

Yeah, except life sucks and quite often a person's appearance doesn't reflect how nice they are on the inside.

She's not scorning her friends for being ugly. She feels sorry for them, because, despite how you might be like on the inside, people are often going to treat you by how you look on the outside. She doesn't think that her friends deserve to be treated poorly because they're wonderful people (even if they might not be thought of as attractive), and she's merely pointing out that she thinks its tragic.

You know, I never thought of it that way, but that does make sense. I mean, what with the complete lack of interest in dating and the uncomfortableness when girls make advances -- it could mean he's gay and in denial, but it could just as easily mean that he has no interest in dating/sex at all. I think that's actually a more interesting take than reading him as gay -- I mean, there aren't a lot of asexual characters out there.
