not OP, but I only recently got into it too. The show is genuinely wonderful, so you should watch it. The fandom has its ups and downs, like any. A lot of people DO seem to think it's indiscriminately wonderful, but it depends what you enjoy. For me, I don't like crack, and I'm picky about characterisation. But there ARE quite a lot of extremely good AUs. You just have to know where to look, because there's a surprising amount of stuff to wade through for such a young fandom.

Personally I love the fandom for being so friendly :)

But yeah. Watch it!

147. I just don't understand being disliked/mistrusted/looked down on because I hadn't heard of Watchmen until the movie. I loved the movie, and I'm trying to get my hands on the comic, but I'm totally put off of the fandom because the people in it seem so bitchy...or maybe that's just the people who make secrets here.

Actually from what I've seen, the fandom is pretty welcoming? Maybe I haven't stayed into the area of the internet where the fandom is so elitist, but what I've seen they seem to be pretty chill.

103. This music video is amazing. Jared Leto has a very intense and expressive face, and...ohmygod. It gives me shivers everytime I see that scene. And the song is great, too. It's even better live, which is so rare.... in other words, secret-maker, I got your back 100%.
