134. I don't think that's lame; I kind of cringe at how much older I am than some of my favorite anime characters now. Plus I am kind of glad I was already too old to get into Hogwarts when the first Harry Potter book came out. I never got my hopes up for that Hogwarts letter.

I gotta admit, all or almost all of those transported-to-another-world types of series I've seen focuses on kids, but their target audiences tend to be really young. I know there are works in that genre with adult characters, but I don't go out of my way to look for the world-traveling stuff myself. Um, I can rec stuff that's more straight-out fantasy featuring grown-ups? ^^;

Golfing buddies, I don't know. I enjoy the fucked-upness of their canon relationship, and Winston's early fixation with O'Brien, and "the place where there is no darkness".

I think the scene with the Other Bobinsky and the Other Father both slipped out of semi-fluff to the end there. ...also the climax in the Other Mother's parlor.



But yeah, opening credits were GAAAAAH in a whole different way.

149. Ugh. So true! Every single episode that comes out, not one moment have misinterpretation of her actions not been exaggerated. She's not a saint (who else is, in that show?); she's deeply flawed, but if you haven't got a stick up your ass, you'd notice she's developing as well, nothing in-your-face, just gradual changes, which I prefer thankyouverymuch.

The hate wouldn't have bothered me as much if the fans would stop glorifying the faults of the other characters (like say, Layfon?). Double standards, ahoy!

Oh man, Vyse/Enrique was the only pairing that I picked up on the first playthrough! Apparently I was completely oblivious to the 'canon' of Vyse/Fina which is weird. I guess I thought if I chose the options to interact only with Fina that seemed like they were bashing me over the head with shipping clues, Aika would get pissed or something and I wouldn't get as good of a swashbuckler rating.
