My therapist has been encouraging the idea of using Pokemon as a support team and, as crazy as it sounds, it's actually been helping a lot. I have my own team set up, they have assigned roles (like Misdreavus helps my anxiety, Espeon and Meowstic help calm my mind, etc). I had a panic attack yesterday and immediately reached out to them.

I feel like a nut job doing this but if it helps, it helps.

I do similar things sometimes, very much 'if it works it works'-- and no one in your day to day life has to know what it is and judge it/you as being 'silly'! Like... sometimes you just have to think about a comfort character helping you through your panic and anxiety and that's true whether you're imagining a human character talking you through things, or a Pokemon team using their abilities to help calm you!

I'm trying not to sound ungrateful but I wish people wouldn't tell me that they've read my fic and, "I'll leave you a comment soon!"

Because 99% of the time I'm excitedly waiting for a comment from them for a few days, and then they either forget or can't be bothered. It really knocks my confidence to be honest.

Loving the new Scrubs episodes. I am so impressed how all the actors and the writing feels like they jumped right back into the characters. I even love the new characters!

Except for Dr. Park.

Idk if the actor is bad or the character is bad or what but I feel like every line he has makes me cringe from awkward delivery.

Sibling headcanons in mcyt spaces are so boring to me bc they only really encompass a very narrow and specific type of 'sibling behavior' that I just don't relate to or find interesting. I like these people interacting together, sure, but 'omg that's so sibling coded!!' is Not my first response I'm gonna be so frfr.

I honestly think that a good 30% of people who complain that male authors can't write women just want to trot out the "she breasted boobily to the stairs, and titted downward". I'd respect their views so much more if I got the impression they'd actually read something by the authors they're complaining about.
