Aww... well, it's understandable, Takeshi/Brock's was the more subtle, lingering one that gives you time for it all to sink in.

Tbh, I don't think of them as just counterparts to his performance, although yes I guess much of it is for the purpose of his own character development. But still, I think in both cases, both women play their roles very well and both clearly had their own major issues. It wasn't all about Leo's character, it was about the combined relationship.
