Yeah, I have to agree there. Return to Zork had its creepy moments, but it was overall the same kind of lighthearted, dorky humor that the franchise is famous for. And I'm glad they went back to that with Grand Inquisitor. But Nemesis was, for its time, a nice little change-off experiment.

Though I could've lived a nice, comfortable life without watching Lauren Koslow and Stephen Macht make out in a bathtub *squicked*

did you confuse ep 7 and ep 8 when you were writing this, OP? Because I haven't played ep 8 yet but I heard there were shitstorms. And I fucking loved ep 7, I thought Will and Lion/Yasu were great characters.

Wait, there are people who think that Wheatley was just being *exceptionally nice* to Chell for shits and giggles and not to get out of Aperture? Huh ...

The creators pointed out that he was sincere in his apology, though. So at the end he probably saw her as a person instead of just an object for his escape. There's some odd things he says in his babbling during the boss fight as well.

I would root for Kurt more if RM didn't make him such a know-it-all. The way he tried to force Karaofsky to come out when he CLEARLY wasn't ready, in such a public setting? No. Bat Kurt. Hit way too close to home for me, and was NOT freaking cool. The only person who gets to decide when Karaofsky (or any other closeted person) come out is said closeted person.

not really, it just shows me that there are a lot of people out there who are willing to rationalize something fucked up and stupid. every one of those posts says essentially the same thing, and I'm sorry, but karofsky can be "redeemed" without him and kurt getting together. and thankfully the writers are more aware of this than the delusional fandom.

As final punishments go, it's not even that bad. He's still alive, he's not alone (the quality of space core as company notwithstanding), and he's probably in orbit around the Earth, so if he has solar panels (and being designed by Aperture Science, he probably does, despite their complete uselessness in his intended operating environment) he doesn't need to worry about running out of power and dying that way. And he probably won't be stuck in space forever anyway.

Given all that, I really can't say the writers circumstance punished him unfairly.

Unless OP was referring to Sue saying she wanted to kidnap and kill the Glee club, but... really? They're not gonna do that in a comedy, even if it does have dramatic elements.
