NGL I was truly surprised when I finally decided to check out the Family Guy fandom, only to discover very few people actually like Gay-Stewie.

Evil-Stewie was fun to begin with but, as you said, the jokes got very old, very quickly. He is a much more interesting and three-dimensional character now. Not because he's gay. But because he has more of a personality now.

I don't know. I can understand people disliking 3D, especially post-production 3D like the next Harry Potter film will be. If your friend doesn't want to try 3D, then just see it in 2D with them.
