No, I still participate in fandom and read fic without any particular guilt. It's just. South Park is weird for me.

I tried reading SP fic the other day, and then my kid goes running past me with a tinfoil helmet on, chasing her hamster in its ball. I was just DDDD: and closed my browser.

I think, actually, the worst part is that we let her watch a lot of the episodes. One day she says to me, "I think Butters and Pip should end up together some day!" Dude. Just -- what if I started writing fic for this show, and then in like five years or something, my kid is reading it? I don't think I could deal with that. I would need to find a tall building to throw myself off of in mortification.

Just ignore the pain, OP. Build up walls in your mind to keep your shit separate if it makes you more comfortable. Nothing about liking South Park has anything to do with anything weird about real kids because it's just Trey Parker and Matt Stone making fart jokes (and later political jokes with farts).
Also I'm pretty sure aged-up means it's not shota. It would make no sense for it to count as shota if they were at one point kids, because everybody was at one point kids.
