I don't think Sansa-hate is inherently misogyny. A lot of it has to do with the fact that she did initial betray her own blood because of idiot Joffrey.

All Sansa did was tell Cersei that Ned was sending her and Arya back to Winterfell. She didn't know about the incest or about Ned's plans to have Cersei arrested, and she did everything she could to save Ned's life. I think it's ridiculous (and yes, misogynistic) that more people seem to blame her for Ned's death than they do Littlefinger, Ned (who basically doomed himself by telling Cersei what he knew), or even Joffrey.

I mean, I don't get how there's so much love for Origami Cyclone when he's just kind of...there. But I don't dislike him by any means. This just sounds like backlash against fandom's way of making so much of barely-developed supporting characters.

You shouldn't feel like needing to hide with this. Having varied tastes in music is relatively normal. My iPod can go from classical music to jpop to kpop to Lady Gaga to the Wicked OST to the Wicked OST in German to some other musicals to Hungarian pop to Mongolian overtone singing to German pop to various other foreign languages, dance music in various subgenres to a Ke$ha a song to Pat Benatar to I don't even know what else. None of my friends judge me for it. Not even for my guilty pleasure music. Hopefully your friends wouldn't judge you for your "opposing" tastes either. Who knows, you may even have other closet kpop fans in your metal group, or closet metal fans in your kpop group.

That was when the movies lost their magic for me, too. Their friendship was such an important part of the last movie, and for him to suddenly be just GONE, without even a passing moment was the thing that told me that they weren't trying.

Okay, actually, I think I realized that they stopped trying to moment that I realized that Cal wasn't responsible for the evil plot when they swore he'd be back and this was the icing.

ASoIaF is great for having a variety of believable female heroines and villains even while set in a crushingly misogynist society. Hell, even the background characters can be pretty awesome.

Honestly, you'd think they would have let them retire/changed villains by now. I mean, they've changed companions....how many times now? It just makes sense for them to change...and hell. Even the *games* have moved on to different teams.

Why can't people just let the wank freaking die already? It happened a long, long time ago. It's just pathetic to keep dragging it up and whining about it so many years after the fact.

I don't respect CC for plagiarizing other authors and think it's terrible that she did so, but for fuck's sake it's been almost a DECADE. And maybe it makes me a horrible soulless person but it's just fanfic. There's no need to build up a lifelong vendetta against a fucking fanfic writer.

She never sold her fic and so if she used a few lines or even paragraphs from other source material to put together an amusing story why should anyone give a fuck? It's been taken offline, it's no longer available. She's no worse than the people who steal whole freaking stories and switch out the names but I don't hear their names getting dragged through the mud years later. And even if it's anything anyone should still care about, she's the one who'se pathetic enough to gain confidence from what someone else wrote. That's shame enough right there.

There is NO EXCUSE for the horrible shaming language being used ITT. Man the harpoons? They can't "man" anything? What the fuck is the matter with all of you? Did we somehow revert to the mean girls club at high school? Is that why you have to screech insults based on weight and appearance from anonymity?

CC might be a fraud and HB might be a toady but I'd take either of them over the rancid anons spewing hate here tonight.

I wish Hamlet would figure out if she wanted her comic to be about plot or about porn. If it was 90% one or the other it'd be better but right now it feels like theres might be a story in there but it keeps getting interupted by sex scenes.

Also as far as the comic's value as porn, the power imbalance/seme and uke dynamic/rape as love crap in it make me uncomfortable so.
