White is the reflecting/absense of all colors. Black (or more like a muddled brown depending on whether you use subtractive or additive color) is the blending of all colors.

Don't worry!

I mean, Hussie is far from perfect, and when people have problems of an SJ nature with fiction I tend to side with them. But COME ON. (The bi thing is kind of legit - although wtf "real homosexual" I hope you're paraphrasing - but we don't actually know what went on in those chatlogs or how much of it was irony on his part. Possibly all of it was.)

In conclusion, I really hope some Dirk secrets get posted next week so we can all have an excuse to talk about him.

[identity profile] insanenoodlyguy.livejournal.com 2012-01-26 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
That's bro though, not Dirk. Dirk's a whole different animal. For one thing, Bro seemed to be interested in puppets more then people.

And Dirk's more into horses. And Jake English.

EquiusxDirk is my OTP really.

But getting back, yes. Yes it was apparently news to some.

Plus, I have a sneaking suspicion some of these people are the ones who started reading at act five and never went back.

Well, to be fair, my mom has all except the bi-polar (though she does have OCD tendencies). She likes to tell the fun story of how she didn't find out the pills she had to take with every meal was for epilepsy until a school nurse let it slip. Before that, she had nightmares about her parents slowly poisoning her!

Ah, my family. (But seriously, my mom is one of the most awesome people I know, so I meant 'at least' more in line with 'I already have to cope with some things, glad I don't have more!' But yes, slightly awkward.)

I hated it, too. But then, I hate Adele's music in general, so that probably didn't help. :/ (Their mashup of "I Will Survive" and "Survivor", though? ♥ ♥ ♥)

I <3 Rock Lee. He was my favorite when I was into Naruto. I still have the 'Just Kickin' It' T=shirt with him on it lying around somewhere...

[identity profile] acidicdemonmilk.livejournal.com 2012-01-26 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
IAWTC. I've only read Homestuck recently, but from his posts, Andrew Hussie seems like a pretty cool and reasonable dude, even if he does get sarcastic at time.

bwahahaha

i'm gonna be using 'batshit insane entire nervous systems comprised of diarrhea' from now on

(Anonymous) 2012-01-26 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you so much.

I really hate this sort of cult where people feel they have to be their diagnosis. I choose to see myself as much more than that. I think it's limiting and insulting.

(Anonymous) 2012-01-26 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
thiiiis.

[identity profile] vongroovy.livejournal.com 2012-01-26 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
Jim Henson has been my inspiration and role model for as long as I can remember. You're doing it right, OP!

(Anonymous) 2012-01-26 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
I have autism, and I don't want anybody treating me any different. I used to think I had to pretend to be "normal", but now I don't feel that way, I still continue. Because pretending to be normal is the only way people will treat me like i'm normal! I don't like it. :

[identity profile] loracarol.livejournal.com 2012-01-26 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
He was definitely one of my favorites- though I will admit, he annoyed me with his giant manifestation of hearts that he would kiss at you, and the idea that he would get to go on a date with a girl, even if she didn't want him to... Though, he was a kid they all were poor bbs so it doesn't bug me as much as if, say, an adult was doing it, if that makes sense.

I think Sakura should have been willing to give him a chance, but she was just a kid too...

I really like Rock Lee a lot more now, though. Like, a lot more. He's kind, and DETERMINED.

Yep. :D

Basically the only reason to why I watch Switched at birth is because of the signing, it is fun seeing the difference between the American signs and the Norwegian ones, also I have broadened my vocab because of it...

And signing is useful, I use it all the time, I don't actually have any deaf friends, but I use it on my friends and they get some of it, also I usually spell my name in sign language when I introduce myself...

I was born in 1991, I'm not entirely sure when the muppet era started but I defintiely grew up watching their movies. If someone were to ask me who the puppeteer of kermit was I'd have no idea. I'm sure he was a great guy though, I just wanted to say this because I'm pretty sure it's not just a younger generation thing.

[identity profile] unicornherds.livejournal.com 2012-01-26 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
Seriously, they didn't tell her? Man, I would totally not trust my parents about anything after they pulled something like that. But then, I'm not a very forgiving person...It's a failing of mine.

No worries on the awkward, I thought it was more funny-awkward than insulting-awkward. :)

[identity profile] making-excuses.livejournal.com 2012-01-26 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
This!

(also he must be great, considering how much he gets around...)

this.

so. much. this.

[identity profile] insanenoodlyguy.livejournal.com 2012-01-26 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
Fraid not. That part was the very words used. "real homosexual". You don't forget when you read that kinda stupid.

Edit: And for the record I'm not saying it's impossible Dirk isn't bi/pansexual (especially the last) but the anger about it? That's just silly.

The fuck? The Simpsons used to be much more "offensive" back in the first 6 seasons; they got tamed down and more propaganda driven recently.

(Anonymous) 2012-01-26 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
I love that show!
Also, I'm in second year ASL at my school and it's awesome.

[identity profile] havemy-heart.livejournal.com 2012-01-26 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
I am in the same boat. I joined other fandoms and slowly started to write for them, but the one I love to write for the most? I seem to be the only one anymore. It really does suck.

I hope you can either find some inspiration or find something else to be passionate about, OP.
