I checked the rules and I didn't see anything about this, but I've heard that we're only allowed three comments per post. Is that correct?

What? If you mean comment replies to secret posts, no, go ahead and post as many times as you like (as long as it's related and not just random spam).

Hey, I thought there could be and optional spoiler warning (like the optional Fandom thing) that could be included in the post when submitting a secret and then posted above the secret, e.g. like this:

There are still 200 or so secrets left to be posted this week, it may still be in the pile!

Can we have a weekly I'd Hit It/I'd Ship It wednesday or something? Just collect all the secrets together and save them for one day of the week? That will stop the endless whining from people who don't want to read them.

It'd be kinda hard and really time-consuming to look through 500 secrets or so just to pick 'em out and separate 'em, though -- doing the April Fools post taught me that ethgjketh

Even if we did do that, I bet they'd post just to whine about them anyway :|

I feel insanely stupid for not understanding this, but I can't seem to wrap my head around how you organize it, in relation to submitting the secret and when it goes up and what happens in between and AUGH.
I read and re-read the FAQ's, but I still don't understand.
This isn't terribly urgent, I mean, I'll wait patiently until I see my secret posted and I'll get to be all surprised with the not-knowing when it'll show up. It just bothers me that I don't understand.

My secret was among those posted last week, but there was some rather dramatic HTML fail involved and neither the picture nor the in-thread link were working properly.

May I resubmit it, or would it be considered a repeat now?

If it was broken, resubmit it -- if it worked before the HTML fail and people saw it, it'd be a repeat!

since people don't seem to be able to read my secret (current 133, Versailles/Matenrou Opera), I wonder if I should do it again. Or would it be repeat then?

If they could see the secret but couldn't read it due to the quality, it would be a repeat. Please don't post it again.

Photobucket deleted one of my secrets, claiming it was in violation of it's terms of use policy. However, I had already sent it to you with the current, now broken link. Is there anyway I can send it to you again without worrying that another site is going to remove it? (It's quite naughty)

I submitted a secret to submission post #123 (I assume; that was the most recent secret submissions post when I made the secret) that I never saw get posted. I believe it was submitted on the 9th/10th of this month, and it followed all the rules. Though I suppose it's possible I linked it wrong, that's not something that's ever happened to me in months of submitting secrets here, so... where'd my secret go?

Since doing it wrong secrets are obvious based on the URL, could they all be included on a single post each week? Not necessarily a separate post, just on a single day. I would actually like this to be done for each of the non-posted categories, but I suspect the other categories wouldn't be as easily noticed and compiled.

That would mean looking through 25+ pages of comments each week -- and what difference would it make?

Out of sheer curiosity. How do you determine which secret is the title one ( the one that is shown on the main page)? Is it just a happens to fall there? Of course excluding the ones that are questionable right? Also, are the secrets posted in the order in which they come? What about those who get it wrong are those posted as they come as well?

It's random minus the top one, which excludes any secrets with NSFW pictures or large visible profanity or -- you know.

Collect secrets for a week, divide by 7, post that number each day, randomly selected! Yeah, the doing it wrong and too bigs and stuff are random too.

I hope this hasn't been asked/answered before: is it allowed to post secret in other languages than English, or bilingual ones? Or maybe with a translation?

As long as there's a translation or the meaning is clear, yes.

If you've commented on secret submission post with your secret, only to realize the original had a typo, is it okay to comment a second time with the typo-free image?
