I have a question. I just realized that I may not have paid attention to the number when I posted my secrets. I posted 3 in the last submission post. One got posted, but two didn't. I guess that means my last brought it up to 700. Does that mean my last two go onto the next post or do they just not get posted at all?

Hi. You said both of mine were repeats. However, they were not posted last week, and when I asked, you said that you had not see them. That is why I posted them again. I was told they had not shown up, and they were never posted.

Hiya!

Um, I seem to have remember you occasionally pimping out especially awesome fic/fandom memes from time to time on the comm? [livejournal.com profile] jamaillith has one going here (http://jamaillith.livejournal.com/155879.html), a Disney/Marvel crossover meme, and my first thought when I saw it was "[livejournal.com profile] fandomsecrets would probably love this."

So, uh, IDK, any possibility of a link? :3

Can it be that I've posted a secret in the submission post on August,31 and it hasn't been posted yet?
I'm sorry, I still don't get the system of posting and updating here :DDDD

I've posted three secrets. One got posted, but I haven't seen the other two. One's a Charlie Bartlett secret and another one is a Dark Knight secret. Did you ever receieve them?

I have a question~ Is there a restriction on how much the image should weigh for it to be posted? I want to use a gif in my secret (nothing too ridiculous, weight-wise), but I don't think I've ever seen one posted before.. so I figured there might be some rule on this.

I was wondering if [livejournal.com profile] wow_secrets and [livejournal.com profile] heroes_secrets could be listed in the specifics section in the profile. thanks

I want to make a few fandom specific comms (which I wanna afill with this one) and I was wondering if you have anything against someone copying your profile layout/info? If not, could you send the html code if I pm you? Thanks

Affiliate?

http://community.livejournal.com/startrek_secret/
is where new secrets are posted. They didn't want copies from fandom secrets so

Star Trek Secrets Archive (mine)
http://community.livejournal.com/st_secrets_arc/
was created that has the past secrets of st from fandom secrets for ppl to comment on. Could we be affiliates and placed in ur user info? Thanks

Hallo! It seems that I was most foolish and didn't remove an image link (http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/6410/40212805.jpg) from my clipboard after copying, so I accidentally posted it and de-anoned, as they say. The secret hasn't been posted yet -- I submitted it just today, within the last two hours -- so may I request that it not be posted? That way I can at least pass it off as an old secret or something instead of being embarrassed >.> Thanks for your time!

I sent the link of my secret, I did it correctly, as far as I know. And it still hasn't shown up. Is it because there's so many, and I just have to wait? I sent it like, 4 days ago, at the very least.

I submitted a secret last week, and it was linked in tonight's post. However, it appears that Imageshack has transformed the jpeg I submitted (and checked thoroughly, so this must have happened within the past couple of days?) into a 1x1px transparent gif.

I'm guessing that this is imageshack's problem, so would it be okay if I used a different hosting site and resubmitted? Or will it just be labeled as a repeat?

I normally wouldn't ask this, because it sort of falls under "why hasn't my secret been posted..." but I added one to the submissions post waaay late (like, after the Friday secret had gone up but before the new Saturday submission post). Do submission posts stay open until the new one goes up or is there a chance my secret fell through the cracks -- in which case I'd want to resubmit now before the current sub-post closes...

Dear technophile,

Could it be possible if I could get an entry from here (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomsecrets/375109.html?nc=985) pulled from the set? I feel that the second one under not!secrets is a violation of my own account seeing as how my screenname isn't blurred out and it's a direct attack on me and my moderators at the community we all run (as stated in here (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomsecrets/57206.html) and in the FAQ (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomsecrets/104153.html#cutid1)). The moderators have all felt that they have been severely hurt in some way by this image.

I hope that would be enough grounds for it to be removed.

Thank you,
Mmrobitussin

Hi there!

I posted about 7 secrets total in the last submission post, and I've noticed that four of them didn't end up in any of the secrets posts. Since you're starting a new secrets round on the 7th, and today is the 6th, I was wondering if something went wrong? I checked all the broken links/not!fandom/too big links at the ends of all the posts and none of them are mine. Also, none of my secrets were personal attacks, so that can't be it. Should I resubmit, or wait to see if they all somehow end up in the Nov. 7th post?

[identity profile] alpha-orionis-v.livejournal.com 2009-11-16 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
Where are the little text bits under each secret telling us the fandom? They've been gone for about a week now, and I like F!S a lot less without them.

(Anonymous) 2009-11-22 12:46 am (UTC)(link)
I sent in a secret that I believe ought to be in the current batch for this week- but I didn't list the fandom at the time I submitted. If I can provide the URL, would it be possible for you to find it and add that?

[identity profile] zalixethbe.livejournal.com 2009-12-15 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm concerned that a secret of mine has not shown up. I submitted it and a number of other secrets to the Sunday Dec. 5th post, and all of the others ones have, I believe, been posted by now. Is this secret maybe still in the queue, or would it have been posted by now? It is, of course, possible that I accidentally left it out when I submitted secrets, but I don't want to resubmit and accidentally cause a repeat if it might still be in the queue.

Hey! I was thinking of reposting funny secrets and whatnot at a @fandomsecrets twitter—would that be a problem? Would it be okay to use that name?

I know this sounds kinda self-centered, but...

(Anonymous) 2010-01-18 04:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I seriously think my secret has been skipped over.

I say this because a secret I submitted on the seventeenth and it should up on Sunday's FS, but a secret I submitted two days before it or so.

It was a Psychonauts secret, if it helps. And if it hasn't been skipped over, well, just pretend this post isn't here~

I subbmitted mine ages ago, and it's still not shown up on any of these, cus I posted twice is it not being posted on purpose? thanks.

(Anonymous) 2010-01-21 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
My latest secret was too big the first time. I resized it and then reposted it. Now it's listed as a repeat even though it's not, because it wasn't posted the first time. What's going on?

Hi. (:

I'm the 2nd year med student who made a secret!kink post on last week's submission post. It was near the end of the week. I've looked through all the posts (and secrets not posted) twice and don't see it.

The only thing I can imagine I did wrong is that I posted the picture two different ways in the same comment: once directly with the URL, as requested and once coded into html to display the image. Out of habit, sigh.

Was I doing it wrong? If I repost it on a different background (it is such a secret I deleted the jpg off my hd after posting, lol) would it be considered a repost?
