Unoffically, like in fanart and such ... I dunno, anon. Since she's loosely based on a true story, I can see how fanartists might include her with Mulan and Pocahontas, but I've never seen any of that.

"Anastasia" is a Fox Animation Studios / 20th Century Fox movie. I assume when you say "princess lineup", you're referring to Disney. "Anastasia" not actually being Disney, well... So, there is no line up for her to be a part of.

As has been mentioned, most lineups are Disney princess lineups and she's not Disney.

Though for those reasons it really bugs me when Merida is now in Disney lineups, Merida may be closer to Disney but she's really Pixar.

She is ALWAYS included if the lineup features non-Disney characters, but you can't realistically expect her to be included in Disney princess stuff.

She is also a fictitionalized (in a a 'fuck history, let's make a cookie-cutter fairy tale with a distinct villain' way) of a real person, who was brutally executed together with her family less then a hundred years ago, but that, apparently, doesn't matter as much to people.

I was a bit taken aback by all the 'But she's not Disney...' in response to this secret. The secret said nothing about Disney.

Then again, I pay more attention to fanVIDS then fanART, and in the former it's very common for animash/princesses vids to include non-Disney - the animash vids commonly have Spirit, for example, and the princesses ones have Anastasia and Odette (and so on).

If that's not the case in fanart, I can see why OP wishes it would be otherwise - if the allure of these fanworks is 'pretty things from various fictional stories mixed together!!!', who cares if the characters included are made by different companies? And if your personal favorite is non-Disney, and thus neglected, what's wrong with being bummed?

(Jane Porter is my favorite, and I have similar complaints.)
