Oh hey Beet secret! :D

And huh, I actually disagree with this quite a bit. I loved Kissu, but I don't think he was becoming the main character; it's not at all uncomming for supporting characters to get focus arcs in Shonene series like this. He seemed to be settling into a role as a major player and valuable member of the group, and I think he works best as 'major supporting character' just like Slade and Poala and Milfa. Anyway, if mangaka cancelled their series just because they spent more time on the side characters than their main, Naruto would have been over years ago.

I also don't think they wanted to cancel the manga. Did you read the illustrator's notes at the beginning of each volume? That guy sounded horribly sick. :(

I wish this series had continued, though. It was great!

I hate to say this but jumping into large fandom spaces might not be for you then. A big part of fandom is ship and people ship different character combos, threesomes, moresomes and so on. Never mind hurt/comfort fic or just simply sometimes two people who loved each other very much just simply don't anymore in both someones head fanon and real canon.

I'm sorry this is something that actively interferes with your day when you encounter it.
