5. Ahh, I was just watching that! ♥ I agree, the characters are wonderful and easily relatable (my favorites are Takemoto and the ever-manic Morita), plus the art style is gorgeous! Usually I'm put off by some shoujo series because of the art style, but H&C has such a magnificent art style that I can't get enough of! The anime's art in particular is so sunny and warm *__* Okay, I'm done gushing!

21. Don't you think lots of yaoi manga (or manga in general?) portray men wrong at times, too? I mean, I don't really know of any guy who's so easily hurt and filled with so much angst. In case nobody answered you, this was from one the short stories at the end of Gyo, called "The Enigma of Amigara Fault". This story scared me way more than the entirety of Gyo... there was just something so creepy and unsettling about it.

As the name suggests it's merely a game, meaning most people are there to have fun & find 3rd person style boring/long-winded, which it tends to be. Usually, as you mentioned, the threads don't really lead to anything but a waste of time. Quantity (of paragraphs in this case) doesn't always equal quality, you know. In the end it all comes down to how good the players are. And most of the time they're bad, first person RP or not.

Maybe I’m the only one who is more impressed when someone can convey a character dead-on in one witty line rather than 300 dull ones.

D/s means Dominant/submissive -- essentially, it's a relationship where there's a distinct power inequality with one partner being the "dominant" and the other being the "submissive" -- either sexually or emotionally or both.

21. Hmm. What manga series have you tried? Some can be pretty damn frustrating on the 'helpless female' front, but honestly, there also are a lot which really, really are not. (Indeed, IME manga and anime series can be a whole lot more willing to fuck merrily around with gender roles than a lot of other popular media)
