Hell yes.
I had an entire semester on it in my English class and wanted to beat to death all the people that were calling it a 'stupid comic book'.
The author won a freaking Pulitzer Prize. The book is riddled with symbolism and truth. Its amazing.
( I cried harder and more often while reading those two short comics then I did during the entire Harry Potter series. )

I never liked Neji--at least not until he cried. And then almost died being all self-sacrificing. That's when he finally made up all the negative points for the absolute FAIL he was with Hinata. But I still didn't really like him--until I came up with a plotbunny that would work only for him and started writing a chaptered genfic.

So now he's one of my absolute favorites, I adore the Hyuuga clan and all its screwed-up-ness, and I have a story about him that I really need to finish writing. *goes to do so~*

9. I haven't played DDR much at all since I quit hanging with the group of friends who were really good at it. I miss it so much but really, I feel kind of like that too - it's really not the same without a good group of players. I don't know that I ever would've been as good as I was without a better group of players to measure myself against and try to catch up to (and fail to catch up to, but I got a lot better than I was before I played with them!).

24. I'm kind of sad that's the only reason you like him! Yamamoto's such a good character on his own. :(

n!s 1. oh my god, seconded, so very emphatically seconded. I reread them periodically and you just reminded me that I should retrieve my copies from my parents' house and bring them to where I'm actually living now. They're just so good and every time I read them it's another trip through the emotional wringer but it's so worth it.
