But that doesn't mean knowledge of the existence of their comics relationship doesn't trickle down due to osmosis or wikipedia'ing. Like, I know that a huge amount of people who write Winter Soldier!Bucky fic have never read the arc in question in their lives, they just know of it.

Same thing with me. It's only recently now that I have the drive to post fics and drabbles up, even if it's just in here.

That would be amazing. Although, admittedly, I suspect that I would see a lot of really gross and scary things.

So, I change the bounds by plugging the upper and lower bounds into the U-formula, right?

Clint/Coulson is one of those pairings that doesn't make sense until it suddenly does. I've had a handful of friends just suddenly be interested in the pairing, and the confusion/craving combo is so funny to see. XD

River got her hand caught by the Angel you see in the picture - if you don't know the canon - they freeze when they're seen so that's why it's not moving but looking away would kill her before she could get away/the doctor could get her away. The only way for her to get free was to break her wrist and the Doctor knew it... so he kind of had a fit over it which included calling her names if I'm remembering correctly. Then I THINK she made him leave so that she could deal with it herself. The next you see of her is her walking into the other room and she's trying to pretend her wrist isn't broken (the Doctor later heals her). I'm not remembering it well enough to decide if he was actually being a dick in that scene but I don't remember being that bothered by it.

As someone else who writes and draws, I feel the same way. I think it's because when it comes to art, I pretty much just draw what I feel like, but when it comes to writing, I put my heart and soul into conveying the characters and their world and struggles. But that's just me; I know it's the other way around for others. So I dunno. :/

(It could also be that my art sucks and I've given up on trying to actually get good at it a long time ago...)

Re: "Bloodswaps" in Homestuck

Yeah, I was really invested in bloodswaps... in 2011. Get with the program, bloodswappers. No one cares anymore.

(Anonymous) 2013-05-08 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
Do you know why, OP? Like, do you have personal triggers with abuse or anything? Or was it something else that upset you?

I see I made the right choice not talking to you. I'm done now.

I'm not sure what they did, talking to the other bus drivers, I guess she had been on thin ice already, and had had other people ask her to her face to change the channel as it was making others uncomfortable.

But, I haven't seen her, and there's another woman driving routes here, so either she's been fired, or transferred to a different bus system, where they're not allowed to play music.

I've never had an orgasm with anyone other than myself. I usually end up either faking it or acting like it doesn't matter.(It's nicer than going, "You've been fucking me for over forty minutes. I'm bored. Come already.")

I have tried to so many different positions and types. (You would think oral would do the trick. Nope.) I would like it if once, just once I could come with someone.

A lot of people seemed pretty sad? I read the AV Club reviews and most commenters were shocked. I didn't hate her, but I also didn't care that much either.

I predicting Sansa hate will continue to increase. It's pretty bad right now.

I do the same with Horde players, heck I might even hover over them and watch if their death is particularly spectacular.

I'm the opposite way. But for me, I'm an all right writer and a shitty artist, so I don't even TRY when I do art anymore because I know it'll be awful. :/

That said, writing and art are both easily criticized, but sometimes writing is more personal because a lot of writers (myself included) put a little bit of ourselves into our writing. In actual written words. That people can see. Even with fanfiction. So sometimes, having it be a little more...mmm...obvious maybe? Makes it a scary thing to let other people see. Like it might be more personal to you even though it's still fan-made shit.

(Anonymous) 2013-05-08 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
I do not GET that pairing at all. And it sucks because the pairing is so freakin' popular. I wish I could at least tolerate it so that I could read some of the fic, but nope. I tried and never got into a thing.

It's Kakashi/Iruka and Sirius/Remus all over again (though, to be fair, I at least understand where S/R comes from... can't say the same about the other two).

That's a little different.

Re: MMO Confessions

(Anonymous) 2013-05-08 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
I used to do that, too. Although back in TBC I'd occasionally go watch non-capped hordies do their Hellfire dailies, swoop in, mind control them three times to HoT/Buff/Bubble them then run off into the sunset just to fuck with them.

Faction is pretty much meaningless now, especially since more people play both sides, and all I really wish for is people to gtfo out of Outlands when I'm playing my alts.

LOL I feel you. Half a year ago I was learning a language that had completely different punctuation rules, and my punctuation turned into something about as comprehensible as melted cheese. Sometimes I cringe so hard when I look at my works written back then.

Oh, and my abundance of epithets.

...but Spock does say Vulcans don't feel emotions? He also says they don't lie. He's lying both times.

/TOS

Now, if the author says Spock doesn't feel emotions, that's something else. :)

Major spoilers for "The Angels Take Manhattan"

[personal profile] elephantinegrace 2013-05-08 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
Basically, there's a book that the Doctor realized is describing the situation with the Angels. The Doctor knows that as long as something's written, it's set in stone, and Amy's read that River breaks her wrist to get away from the Angel currently holding her. The Doctor refuses to help River get out of the Angel's grip and tells her to do it herself without breaking her wrist. He was a huge douchenozzle and it's the last time the really-should-not-be-husband-and-wife duo are seen onscreen together.

Long Plotty Buffy crossovers

(Anonymous) 2013-05-08 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know which fandoms I'd want crossed over with it, so surprise me. Hell, if it's with a fandom I'm unfamiliar with, reading the crossover might get me interested in that fandom.

Thanks. If I had only heard it once, I wouldn't have bothered, but every time I got on the bus she was listening to it.
