It's a way off yet, but Evangelion 4.0. I'm sure it will clear up all mysteries raised in the series, and give every character a happy and satisfactory ending.

Also looking forward to Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, despite some unfortunate choices from the costume designers.

Since you're both going through so much right now I think it's understandable that you can't support her the way you may wish to and that it might be in your best interest to take a step back and concentrate on yourself. It's unfortunate that things turned out this way, but if you can't handle the relationship there's nothing else to do.

I know it's difficult, but try not to beat yourself up about it. There's only so much one person can do and eventually she would have to work through some stuff on her own anyway.

Hope everything works out for both of you.

Micaiah is just...I think I fell in love with her during her speech to Sothe that she would do anything to save her people and damn what the rest of the world thought of her. I do agree most people disliked her because she wasn't Ike and ignored that we got a female (!) caster (!!) lord with a strong character (!!!). And I love her Radiant Dawn design. One of my favorite pieces of official art in the whole series.

I feel really bad for Eliwood. He accidentally killed his girlfriend! He's the balance to Hector and Lyn too. His growth rates are I think what started the hate on him? Because he's not fantastic at any one thing that is 'top tier.'

I <3 Ranulf too. Only sane man in Gallia's army. Poor guy.

One place where FE really shines is characters and I feel it's a waste of time to call any character there a Sue. It's really not looking deep enough.

I want to go back to school but I'm terrified of racking up debt. And it's for freaking ART so it's not like I'll be guaranteed a cushy job or anything.

It's heavily Tony whump and not a lot of comfort at the moment, but it's coming. It's also about Tony being "unintentionally,accidently" bullied by Steve, Natasha, Clint, etc. Then they learn their mistakes and everyone tries to make amends, etc. Mostly, for now, the comfort is in the meta fics it's spawned here: http://archiveofourown.org/series/35037 where fans of the stories write their own scenes/outtakes/meta and it gets posted there.

I guess i just don't get how listening to Christian music is very offensive beyond the fact that Christian music is notoriously terrible. As long as its not overtly hateful music, I'm not seeing how it's any more offensive than other kinds of music beyond the fact that you believe playing Christian music on a public bus violates separation of church and state. I think it's a ridiculous to allow public bus drivers to play music in the first place, because no one is ever going to be happy with the choice of music.

Eh, I honestly have toons on both sides so...meh. That said, I don't usually step in to help out in WoW because dude. Most people are asses [at least that I've run across when leveling]. Guild Wars 2 on the other hand...Yeah, I join in. But again, more people than not seem to so -shrugs-.

I grew up in a circle full of trophy wives (my dad had really classy friends and business partners). It's only great if the guy really cares about you.

I actually hate Elliott so I was disappointed that this secret isn't about how annoying she is.

I guess it is one of my less-used icons, although I do tend to use it in both crime/mystery show discussions (not just L&O) and comics discussions.

The problem I have is that they don't tag it Steve/Tony. When it's tagged, I have no problem. It's tagged, so I can skip them. Same with the threesomes. It doesn't annoy me to see the tag, it annoys me that I'm reading a fic, that it's tagged Bruce/Tony, that it says it's going to be about Bruce/Tony, and right in chapter 2, suddenly, one or both are contemplating how to add Steve to the relationship and there's no indication of it on the tags.

Pretty much this. I've been through some seriously nasty stuff in my life - but I don't talk about it. Like, ever, outside of private conversations with fairly good friends [and even that is rare] - but I'll say 'Oh man, I totally get how that character feels.'

However, by what you can see I'd probably seem to be a 'sheltered fan' when that really isn't the case.

Tl;DR: Anon above me is right - you really can't tell what a person has been through, or how it's effected them.

I'm honestly afraid to watch this because the old series was basically my childhood. When I heard about the idea I was excited, but seeing stills from it on tumblr made me realize it's not what I thought it would be.

Aren't they like 15 years old? Pretty sure shota refers to prepubescent kids, not teenagers. Not that it still can't be uncomfortable to read as an adult, but still, hugely different territory than little kids.

haha reminds me of how when I was 15, I read/wrote a lot of Trowa/Quatre fic from Gundam Wing. Now that I'm... very much not 15, it is a bit weird for me, but still I support the pairing in a you-can-hold-hands type of way.

Man, I've been wanting to get this out for a while.

So, in another comm I'm in, someone posted a big thing about a woman that was being harassed and had been for some amount of time I can't remember. They tried to get the managing company of the thing that the comm was about to step in and get involved to stop the harassers, and I don't know what came of that, but her harassers managed to find her real life info and was calling her, making threats, whatnot. She felt the only way to get out of it was killing herself, so she did.

Yes, I find that tragic. I don't know what it's like to live in fear like that every day. But while everyone piled in to make teary, lamenting replies, I just wanted to chew a hole in my screen and punch somebody.

No father left alive, don't know why. She kills herself, child has no more parents. I don't know about grandparents or if the kid is now in the hands of the state. I think I'm good on this thread, but I will post in other GC comments in the future! You all explained things a lot more clearly then my teachers did. (To be fair, they have so many students, and so much material to get through.)
