I believe Noel is very talented but he needs Julian to keep him grounded and on the right joke path. Otherwise, Noel goes too surreal and too non sequitor. He doesn't know when to pull back.

My nephew, who I usually take out on this day, is off playing with his great aunts in Florida. So, I have no plans other than I just bought myself a chocolate bar with maple bacon and smoked sea salt in it (my treat) and watching a Netflix horror movie marathon.

What are your plans?

I'm not really doing anything. I'm going to wear a witch hat and hand out candy, probably while watching some classic DW (The Silurians). Boo for weekday Halloween.

But on Saturday I'm DM'ing the famous Gary Gygax "Tomb of Horrors" module with my friends! I've never DM'd before so I hope it goes well! I think I'm going to just wear black and be Death from the Sandman-- IF I can find my freaking ankh. I haven't worn it in 4+ years so I'm going crazy as to where the hell it is.

Laying around being sick as hell. I'm legit sick and luckily (?) half the people on my shift called out of work too so even if they are faking it, I'm not the only one who is suspiciously missing work on Halloween.

Agreed, and certainly the primitive SFX is certainly no excuse NOT to mourn. (Cf. the missing DW eps of that era, which likely had similar effects.) ~ Story transcends all.
