Me too. I don't believe that's always the case, but it isn't exactly far fetched to think that someone might want to write about what they like.

Either way, I don't really see what it matters? I don't put too much thought behind it; when I'm reading smut fic I'm not wondering about the author.

My dad does the first one in my car. I keep a grocery bag in the center console for trash, and whenever he's mucking about with the car (something he rarely informs me of before he does it) he throws the bag away and doesn't replace it. So not only do I have a drink cap or a candy bar wrapper or some other piece of potentially messy trash and no trash bag to put it in, I'm in a moving vehicle and it's not like I can go to another room and put it in that trash bag for now.

Actually, that reminds me, I need to get some sort of tape later today- I keep finding my under-the-kitchen-sink cabinet doors slightly open, but I definitely close them... It's either my cat or, like you said, a lazy poltergeist. :P

I hate it when paper isn't pulled out of a notebook neatly/people don't fix it when it is.

Also when I'm trying to bubble in forms, and the bubble isn't neat. :I

The weird thing is that when they are in male bodies they're not some weepy stereotype or whatever, but as soon as they've got female parts they just fall apart and are all emotional. It's...really weird and I'm guessing is just the author self-insert or projecting or whatever but it's disappointing because I really love gender role exploration and genderswap is hardly ever actually about that.

Yeah, this! I saw the trailer before Desolation of Smaug, and for the life of me, I couldn't tell you why it got me so hyped, but it did.

I don't read much genderswap, but I won't read it if both characters aren't swapped. IDK how many times I've come across a fic that sounded good but only swapped one of the characters. Not sure why it bothers me so much, but I immediately lost interest.
