Same. Celebs fuck up too much to stan them. Also I don't know how I'd ever feel I knew enough about them to stan for them. They're real people with lives, no matter how many pictures and interviews I watch, I may never know the real them.

I used to stan certain celebrities, but I soon figured out the less I know the better. I'd rather watch an actor/actress or listen to a musicians work completely detached from the person behind the act.

Same reason people stan their favorite fictional characters, I imagine. The fan's made up a fantasy person in their heads and will defend their version of it against all evidence to the contrary.

The egoist is a bit of a knob, but I won't go so far as to say scummy. And Miley? why do you regard her as scummy? What has she done?
Not meaning to sound confrontational or anything, I seriously don't, at this point, understand your scummy rateing system. Would you clarify?
