9- People are not what they wright. Or read. Maybe they just like the characters and the dynamics between the characters.
21- I... really don't like it when people compare pain between characters and compare how they handle it. It's not a contest when people suffer.
Anyway, I could understand if you mean some really dumb fanbrats who excuse every single bad thing they have ever done with the bad things that happened to them. That would be annoying.
Also, who's the character and what happened with him? He looks neat.
22- Some canon ships are just awesome and you are not boring for liking them.

I like playing at Poly, but there are some major things that irk me. I'd have to agree that a lot of OOC playing is overlooked. It saddens me, because a few of those are well known characters. :/

I, like you, dispise the fandom right now. But I think for different reasons. Right now I just don't like the third season. It's just blah to me. And the reason I dislike the girls isn't because I don't like girls getting near the guys, I've been fine with the girls in the past (except for Cassie, but that was just because of her acting skills). I just don't like the girls because it seems like a blatant attempt to change the formula of the show. I just kind of liked it how it was. I liked how unique it was, without a token love story. It was one of the few shows that only had 2 main characters most of the time.

Now, with fandom, I'm saddened because people have literally started segregating out anyone who doesn't blindly accept all the changes. If you show doubt or dislike for where things are going you're immediately assumed to be a crazy stalker that can't stand to see other people near Sam/Dean/Jensen/Jared. The vast majority of the time that's not it. We have highly thought out and frequently (lol) intellectual reasons for not liking the new season. Literally being ostracized for our opinions is ridiculous.

Just because we don't like the 3rd season and/or the girls, doesn't mean we're crazy love stalker fans. Just like the fact that you do like the third season and/or the girls, doesn't make you crazy blindly following Kripke fans. We all have our reasons, and you just need to see that.

I guess I'm just hurt by how if you don't like the girls you're immediately accused of being in "love" with Jensen/Jared/Sam/Dean and are just jealous. Just because you don't like something new of a series doesn't mean it's because you love the main character and are jealous. Why can't you guys accept that there are bigger reasons than that? We're not creepy or in love, we just love film. Most of us enjoy the production value and spend more time discussing how the writing is gone up or down, or how a shot was off. Things like that. We acknowledge that the new characters are a turning point in production value, just as the new seasons general cinematography has went to shit.

Why doesn't anyone understand that?

And I'm pretty sure you can be anon on there, so if you've got all these problems with Poly, it would be a lot more constructive if you took it there, and didn't bring it to FS. You'll get wank here; you'll probably get a solution there.

Complete bullshit. There's a character complaints thread in addition to the problems thread. Mods aren't just going to target people they may think are OOC. That would make them elitist, don't you think? Or more so, since you already think they are. Plus, they don't know every fandom of every character that's in the game. That's why they ask the players to bring OOC characters to their attention. So uh- there goes your calling them "know-it-alls".

So really. If you've got that big an issue with Poly? Do something about it, instead of whining here.

As a mod, I suppose I shan't even touch some of those points. No need to be overly rude. Though apparently, we're being asked to be... more powerful, to step up and smack people for ooc when we may not even know the fandom, (because obviously, we know all fandoms, and it's fair to only patrol oocness ourselves in the fandoms we know) and to drop everything for your app, (because it's not finals week and it's totally not cool to expect mods to have lives outside the comm and ask nicely for you to allow two weeks at most for us to look over 50+ apps.)

And this is another "elitist" mod opening herself up for questions or complaints. AIM is steelandpride, I can't say I've ever turned down one of those.

00's intriguing so far. It's definitely a different feel from past Gundam shows, very politically heavy. The plot seems to finally be getting moving right now, so I'm interested.
