26 - Yep. I discovered it through the joys of television. And I know for a fact at least seventeen people discovered it through me forcing them to watch it. Most of the films I watched in science had fuck all to do with science, though - It would be awesome if more sci-fi films were used.

You've only seen the Abridged Series? But you're missing so much! I mean, as awesome as TAS is, there's quite a bit in canon that is sheer crackawesomeness! We have pretty boys with sadistic other halves, people getting set on fire, Ancient Egypt, teenagers that never go to school because they're too busy playing childrens' card games, teenage billionaire CEOs, mind control, more subtext than is possibly healthy, and more crack than you could imagine.

44. That part made me so angry. I have to admit, it's understandable for the characters to be frustrated (I know if I was dealing with a character like Luke and with an event like Akzeriuth I wouldn't have been able to handle it calmly at all) but it really irks me a lot when some players say that it was the push Luke needed to 'get better.' I don't think anyone needs that much blood on their hands to get better.

But still, I recommend trying to get past that and continue on. There's a scene soon after (about, 2-3 hours, I think?) that cheered me up after that, it might cheer you up as well.

...And more Van/Luke shippers are always good. ;3;v

2. I agree! The Death Note fandom "ruined" the series for me in that I really can't take it seriously any more, but I don't consider it a bad thing. The fandom is fucking awesome and hilarious. <3

3. Uh, maybe he just doesn't like wearing shoes? I don't really understand how that makes it hard to believe he's a genius. :/ Geniuses are often seen as being eccentric anyway, so I think that's what they were going for. I don't care if you don't like L, it's just... that seems like a really weird reason.

12. Actually no, people just don't like to hear others complain that we didn't sit down for 2 hours to stroke your ego by writing a 500,000 word essay on how amazing you are. (Disregard that if you don't like short reviews because they don't have critique. I'm just thinking of those who only want good reviews, but whine if it's just not long and gushing enough for them, ie "It's not enough to tell me you came buckets, you have to tell me why point out each and every line that you liked or your review sucks and I hate you!" )
