I always figure people say busy as a polite way of say it isn't as important to do.

I think the whole jaybie stalker thing made them both a little frustrated at this place.

I didn't like her because of a romantic subplot. And after Elizabeth died and Teyla had a baby there was a dearth of gen oriented female characters.

I love Date With Density! I know I'm not the only one, but it's a lot smaller than say, Lisa/Millhouse or Nelson/Bart :(.

I love how they keep bringing it up, though. There's been a bunch of episodes in the past few years that have either Lisa or Nelson mentioning that they still like each other. (I'd love it if they did a future episode where she was married to Nelson instead of Millhouse)

Nah, she ends up in Azkaban. I admittedly don't know if the dementors are still in use, given that they're dark creatures in alignment with Voldemort ~~she deserves them tbh~~ but still, from everything we see in Azkaban, it's a pretty shitty place; a place that she deserves.

All of the female characters on Scrubs with each other, except for Jordan.

The Sherlock Holmes games put out by Frogwares are pretty fun, if slow. Well, the later ones, anyway; the earlier ones were a bit poorly made. They're on both Steam and Big Fish Games. You can probably get the newer ones on disc, as well.

Maybe Timothy Zahn? His books are less "Ewww, people" and more "Yay, technology!!"

I also like some Star Trek TOS tie-in novels when I want a bit of light optimistic sci-fi. Diane Duane writes particualarly good ones.

I've pretty much accepted that BioWare fandom will always find something to complain about. It's just what they do*. (I do it too, but in a different way and to a much lesser extent.)

I guess most large fandoms are like that to some degree, but it's very noticable with BioWare's fans.

IDK, I'm just here for the art, gifs, and fic. I like discussion, but I can't use tumblr for that and even if it were possible, I wouldn't because of all the shit I've heard about the fandom there. (The reddit is nice, but I'm not used to commenting on reddit, and get intimidated thinking about it.)

*Which is not to say that NO ONE has legitimate concerns, but some of it I just don't get.

This is fucking stupid. And I say this as someone who is a feminist.

Not entirely the only one, but I still ship Chamber/Husk after all these years and I only rarely see people who do.

Sheppard/Weir (SGA)...McShep is the huge ship, and most people don't even seem to like Weir very much. :\

I think there's a difference between porn that's, you know, porn, and porn that's marketed as a fun and cute game with a cast of likeable characters. Littlewitch Romanesque can be judged as art--even good art! It's just good art with a giant, gaping asterisk.

I do wonder whether that, and other similar things, could be the cause of some people not turning up. But as no one (as far as I know) has said that while signed in, I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth.

I did a really awesome cosplay photoshoot with a friend yesterday after spending most of the year so far homebound due to health crappiness and the resulting weakness.

I was almost not okay to drive home afterwards because I was so tired and weak and cold that I couldn't stop shaking and was incredibly dizzy, I even had to pull over to the side of the business loop and just sit there for awhile with my eyes closed to regroup before I made it, and I spent much of the rest of the day lying in bed trying to recover, but hoooooooly crap some of the photos we got made it worth it. :D

Also have discovered that I really, really like fresh orange juice, when I never cared for orange juice before. Apparently when it's fresh squeezed it's awesome! Just bought some fresh pineapple to try that, and because I already DO like pineapple juice, I am looking forward to seeing if it's basically orgasmic when fresh or what.
