45) I liked Suki on the first ep she apparead, then she kissed Sokka's cheek and implied she liked him. Way too fast! Couldn't stand her on the other eps.
I love Sokka/Toph too, but it doesn't have anything to do with don't liking Suki D: I just thing Suki is just a little bit forced on the audience...

#57 is really interesting and I think it's true that she would want to try and help, especially after the events in 'Defying Gravity' but at the same time she trusted Elphaba and would allow her to do what she wanted...But anything that would be said is all theory and opinion, but it's an interesting thought~

35. I agree, the style is pretty ugly. But I'm still watching it regardless. I love G1 to bits, but I'm willing to look past style sometimes to watch a new series. (I loved Armada, so you can't really take my opinion too seriously, hah.)

I don't really see how some secrets are secrets and others aren't. How is #1 any different than the not!secret at the bottom? I would assume that the reason the not!secret is saying they thought the book was better is because it was a secret in the first place to them...

6 - I'm sure you're not the only one, so don't feel too terrible so long as you know the difference between reality and fiction. ;D

45 - See, I want to like Suki...but I just don't know enough about her. And I find it hard to blame lack of screen time. Hell, even Song, with her measly five to seven minutes of screen time came off more well developed than Suki did. That's not to say I don't like Suki, I just...think she falls short of being a really memorable character. Different strokes and all that, though. I understand Suki has fans, it's just that next to all the other girls of Avatar, she falls in the lower end of the development spectrum along with Mai, Ty Lee, Jin and Jun.

For that same reason, I have no real opinion of Sokka/Suki. I think I prefer Sokka/Yue though--that relationship seems to have a bit more substance to it, and Sokka has been shown thinking of her through all seasons so far: that's a lot more thought given to a goddess rather than the girl he should have realized was abducted way back when...oh...Katara was rescued at BSS. I mean...really, he saw Team Ozai in Kiyoshi garb, I thought he was smart enough to put two and two together...

My friend explains to me that it's an arm guard--the skeleton of it is metal as seen at the shoulder and hand--but it's covered by cloth. I have no idea why. I suppose it's useful if you're getting sharp shit hurled at you, as long as there is a hinge at the elbow joint. XD

18. I know this is ANONYMOUS and everything, but who are you/why is there fanfic about your family? That would definitely make me feel really, really uncomfortable if there was fic about my dad getting it on with anyone, be it my mother or somebody else. I enjoy RPS (and even write it) but I feel sympathy for you. That said, I don't feel a huge amount of sympathy for humongously popular public figures--I sorta feel like since they're putting themselves out there, RPS a kinda part of the deal. I don't think it's obligatory for you or anyone else to enjoy it, though.

22. Oh no, I totally agree he's tragic. In fact, he's close to being tragic in the classic sense, only the great tragic characters are supposed to fall "through no fault of their own", which I don't think Light quite fits under. But no, I think he IS a very tragic character, almost pitable--I just stop short of saying he was RIGHT, like some fans do.

You do realize that dramadramaduck is a crack game, right? Also, isn't part of the beauty of RP building relationships that would be completely crazy in canon?

When I was there, I really enjoyed threading with Kadaj. The mun who plays him is pretty talented IMO, taking something that is obviously seen as ~*~crazy~*~ and turning it into something that turned out beautiful; same goes for Yunalesca-mun. Baaaaaaaaww, cry moar. If you're such an expert on Kadaj, why don't you play him? :|

Actually taking note of the character development that leads up to a character like Kadaj at dramadramaduck? Does help to understand why a player does what they do. I can see how just stumbling across it would cause great wtfery but if you'd seen the RP's progression from when it began over a YEAR AGO, which was when Kadaj was first applied for, you'd understand why Kadaj acts like does.

35. I like the show. I think it's rather cute. However - I respect your opinion. It's not the best show, no, and I don't think G1 was the best show either. I do; however, really like and respect the world that the G1 series set up. So many of the comics, books, fan works, etc. really flesh out and shape the characters. It's a vast world that's really intriguing. I think if given the chance, TF Animated could be a fun retelling that could get a whole new generation of kids into Transformers.

Regardless, change is inevitable. It may not be what you like... but you've got to give Hasbro credit; they love their Transformer fans. The G1 fans still have plenty of stuff to get their hands on (comics, figures, etc.), the kids have plenty to get excited about (new cartoon, figures, etc.) and the more casual fan has something they can get into with the Movie verse.

But I can understand. It's no fun being attacked for liking or not liking something. If it makes you feel any better - I've been attacked before for saying that I liked the show.

...wait, you're saying it's impossible to like both? Because, uh. I do. My copy of the book is falling apart because I've read it so much, but that doesn't change the fact that I love the show.

They're totally separate entities. If I tried to connect them in my head, I'd want to strangle Schwartz for what he did to Fiyero, but I don't because they're not, and the show has some cute, fun music in addition to Julia Murney and Kendra Kassebaum Elphaba and Glinda being desperately in love with each other.

Admittedly the only time I've bought stage!Elphaba/Fiyero as a pairing was when it was Idina!Elphaba and Taye!Fiyero, and that mostly because they have enough chemistry that they could be saying/doing anything and I'd believe they were in love.

But what I'm trying to say is: Liking or even loving the book and the show aren't mutually exclusive. You're allowed to dislike the show but that doesn't make you 'educated', anymore than someone liking the show but disliking the book makes them, I dunno, a Broadway drone. People's tastes differ. Yours are not more qualified than anyone else's.

51. This is because April May was the very first witness created for the game and she was more of a prototype witness that the rest of them used as a guide. Originally, Turnabout Sisters was supposed to be the first case. The art style changed a little as they created the later characters.
