That sounds really shitty.

Maybe you could just send a message to said friend to say you're thinking about them? It's not talking about their issues, but it might give them - and by extension yourself - a bit of a needed boost?

I mean, expressing that you care isn't the same as prying for details, right?

I don't really have anything to suggest but I'm sorry you're in so much pain right now, and I'm sorry your friend is going through such a rough patch.

But you say you talk to them on a regular basis so that's good! At least they know you care about them and that you're there if they ever need you. Having someone to chat with is probably helpful, even if it isn't about their problems.

Maybe do something to distract yourself in the meantime? There's only so much you can do in a situation like this, unfortunately.

I thought I would chill and watch the 5th season of MLP Friendship is Magic on DailyMotion but they only have it up episode 19 and nothing further. Nothing on YouTube either. It isn't yet on WatchCartoon. I know I will eventually find it somewhere sometime but right now I'm just so frustrated!

Anon who complained about online friends a few days ago, here. I take back my silver lining about having friends in real life, at least. They're tweeting about doing something today and I didn't get invited. I've been crying all day. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I finally have an idea for NaNo, but my brain keeps going to other ideas.

It always does this, and I think that's why I haven't actually finished a novel yet. I think for today I've successfully reeled myself back in, but... it could be a long November.

Also, how does anyone find time for NaNo?

I've got more serious complaints but I don't feel like typing them out right now, so I'm just going to complain about buying a $16 DLC that I can't play right now because my save-game within said DLC won't load. (I thought about starting the DLC over because for a day or so the DLC worked/loaded fine, but I don't feel like redoing everything, especially since I'm afraid I'll run into the same problem and it'll be a waste of time.)

Don't want to attempt reinstalling because it took me forever to get the game installed from disc the first time, and then I'd have to redownload everything which I couldn't do right now because of my data plan. I'm just going to hope a patch fixes this soonish, and work on other playthroughs. Even though I don't want to.

I was wondering about the frequency of mean and aggressive comments showing up in very unexpected threads today... and then I saw the frozen thread and the root of all the evil.

(Taking a risk here I know.., but anyone who have carried a pregnant belly around knows how entitled women can be. Had I found a way to fence it in with electricity I would have.)

I hate wishing bad stuff on people, but I honestly wish the dipshit downstairs would get kicked the fuck out. I'm tired of their stupid shitty bass-loaded music that rattles my walls and floors. I'm not even amused anymore when they hold their tonedeaf American Idol recording sessions (or whatever the hell it is they're doing). I get so paranoid people will hear ME if I get a little loud, but at least I don't do it continuously. I don't understand why ANYONE thinks it's appropriate to BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM BOOMBOOM TCHAKAKAKAKAKBROOOOOOOOOOOOO (I dunno the song, it sounds that stupid through bass only) when a bunch of other folks are just on the other side of those walls.

Of course, with my luck they'll get kicked out and some shitty creeper or screamer will move in, heh.

I had a plant that got flooded with water, so I "accidentally" tipped it over on the deck, just a little. They probably won't even notice.

I was told NO-ONE was getting a pay increase cause we all go an increase back in January.

Just found out pretty much everyone but me, and maybe 2 others, got an increase.

I'm on leave so I cannot resolve this. It's overshadowing my whole fucking week and pissing me off. Especially since I'm pretty sure they're going to try and argue out of the increase.

I wish the person who had fucking told me this had either a) told me when the first found out and not 1 hour into leave or b) waited until I got back after my week of leave so I'm not sitting here feeling hurt and angry and moneyless.

Also it smarts that he called me naive for listening to the person who told us such. So I took it at face value, whatever. You guys have had months to let me know the person did not tell the truth. Thanks for like, chatting about it but not telling me (or the other 2 wtf? I have told the other 2)

and my mum is coming over this week which tbh not hugely looking forward to because i have to host and it will cost money and i just wanted a week long break.
