If you have the inspiration to write them and want to write them then you should go for it. You don't have to post them, and perhaps if you did post them you might find some people do enjoy them. Sometimes it's nice to read something that makes you look at canon a little differently and as long as it's not a c/p of the show/books transcript, there's no reason people would find it boring.

I did the writing deleted scenes/ missing scenes/rehashing in a fanfic project I coauthored. We wrote for fun, posting was an afterthought after much writing, and we still loved the writing
