Too Big 6: Wait...you want a fanartist in your fandom so she can draw your beefcakes as cuddly bishies? People like you ware why fandom can't have nice things.

PLEASE MAKE THE SYLAR SECRETS JUST DIE

23. Have you seen Nashya's nagas? I myself find nagas a little eerie (most anthros, really), but I can't deny how gorgeous hers are. Good god, so pretty. And she's not made of fail!

24. Wow. You win the irony award today. o_o Just... wow.

34. What. The hell. I hadn't seen that before now, and now I want to go cry or something. I love pretty anime guys, but... NO. NO NO NO NO.

NO

68. Uh... well, if people can become BNFs from fic or art, why not icons? Is it really that foreign an idea?

But if I had to guess, I'd say it's because she's personable and friendly. And I hope you don't take it as "her friends mobbing," but I can't see why it matters to you. Does her popularity somehow hurt you? I wonder all the time why some people are popular, but ranting about them is just petty. Go rant about someone who kicked your dog or something, not some nice person on the internet that you obviously don't know very well. That's way too much malice to be handing out for free - there's always people who deserve a rant, why waste it on those who don't?

68

(Anonymous) 2008-02-27 11:00 am (UTC)(link)
Rather, I'd like to rant about her RP but am quite convinced her friends would mob the hell out of me.

Sweet! An American Gothic and Hex post!
Loved both shows and it's nice that someone else likes Cassie and Azazeal other thank myself.

[identity profile] purple-kama.livejournal.com 2008-02-27 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
22. Dude/dudette, nothing wrong with that. She's a jumpy and kinda clumsy little girl, dressed only in blood, bandages and little else, with a key fetish. She hits every kink possible, and all by herself :D

[identity profile] callmejude.livejournal.com 2008-02-27 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
30. I'm the same way! Cameron drives me insane, but I actually rather like Thirteen. It doesn't make sense to me, either, but whatever.

35. David Anders was a good enough reason for me, too. XD

37. I litterally squealed when I saw this secret, 'cause it had Robert Sean Leonard in it. XD; That movie's in my netflix! [/dork]

50. You and me both. :/

Because the combination of Bruce Timm + Batman + solid animation studios (Production I.G., Madhouse & Studio 4C) along with the rumored (http://twitchfilm.net/site/view/satoshi-kon-animating-batman/) involvement of Satoshi Kon has the potential to be the best thing ever.

35. ALIAS bored me. I wish they would play something more Sci-Fi in the place of it and Relic Hunter on the SPACE channel.

41, 56. No one cares. D:

48. Aww, Howard. :3

64. I don't know, I find him more lighthearted in the way that he's confident and more realistic.

73. It's really sad that people get so uppity when their friends confront them if they notice fandom is taking them in too far. There's nothing wrong with writing fanfiction, but maybe you should try to focus more on school? I mean, school will most likely matter more in the future, but hey, I don't know you, so I shouldn't judge. I do, however, recommend trying to empathize with your friend and try to understand that they're probably just worried about you.

[identity profile] sashwizzled.livejournal.com 2008-02-27 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
Ahahaha, from just following f!s, I'd been half thinking the entire DN fandom was a bit touched in the head. Thank you for proving me at least slightly wrong, o sane one. XD

[identity profile] pavonine.livejournal.com 2008-02-27 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
19. So, if that character drove you to suicide... how are you still alive?

23. But one's pregnant and they just keep crying... ugh.

25. Really?!

30. She's not a Cameron clone. Cameron had interest in House; Thirteen does not.

37. OHAI YOUNG RSL

76. Repeat?

[identity profile] king.livejournal.com 2008-02-27 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
1. No. But all the weirdos out there can relate to him or something, I guess.
The thing that's awesome about Death Note is you can hate every character and yet somehow love the story to bits.

34. ... *tilts head* I feel a bit conflicted on this. Batman wasn't a part of my childhood, so I can't say I'm a fan. However, I'm still somewhat offended by the animu-tion aspect -- I have to say that I'm rather used to (and fond of) the whole square-jaw/hero look that the original Bruce had (wtf his bangs dood wtf). And then there is the fangirl in my head already drooling and squealing over the "omg bishie kawaii ♥ ♥ ♥" etc. I wasn't interested in the DC fandom at all, but I think I might check it out, if only to shut that stupid fangirl in my head the hell up. Purely for the eyes, really, but if the story's good, so much the better. If not... well, I can always say "it's not the real Batman geez" and give Batman another chance another day.

as a side note, lol #34.

nf4: ... lol. That's great.

tb3: ... As far as I remember, the KHFR community is pretty open to friend-meme-ing. Give it a try!

[identity profile] ruriruri.livejournal.com 2008-02-27 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
34. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

Don't do this to Bruce. Don't do this to Bruce. He looks like a Mikami reject or something.

At least it's not Clark Kent getting this treatment.

[identity profile] el-hustino.livejournal.com 2008-02-27 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
1. L died for your sins.

7. Unless fandom is a sentient being, it's your friend's fault. I agree with your point, though; people should choose their friends over fandom.

19. Uuuuuh, the final point of Eva was Shinji getting through depression. It wasn't meant to mess with anyone's head, rather it was meant for an outlet for the creator's own depression. It should be seen as an example of bringing the idea of depression the mainstream.

22. A.B.A. would vomit two seconds into it! Probably faint, too.

28. I'd be simply confused to see him wander into my workplace.

34. That...no, no, that can't be Batman. No...no. Impossible.

He seems to have my hair though. ?_?

46. 'Murder Mama' for the DS announced!

66. I loved him because of how unsettling he was. His staring was so suspenseful and he always had an aura of carnal power behind a veil of sincerity.

[identity profile] seris.livejournal.com 2008-02-27 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
72-she's also dead

73-if you could make a living off writing fanfiction, you'd be the first.

Shut up and do your homework.

Re: SYLAR SECRETS

The "die in a fire thing" is a bit much, but I wholeheartedly agree. You're making us look bad. I submitted a secret for next week that has to do with Sylar (one, mind you) and everyone is going to flip out on me.

I don't want to be mean, because you seem like a nice person, and the people creating needless wank over it annoy me 5 billion times more. But you should stop responding to comments and take a nice long break from F!S if you want to keep your integrity. Please.

Hell, I just love Sibrand in general, but GOD. YES. ASDKFJASNDF. HUZZAH, SOMEONE ELSE SHIPS IT.

I think it would be awesome to read the memoirs of characters in a series. I've always thought that would be interesting to see, because even if you're writing about something that happened in the series, it's more about what that particular person experienced and thought about it.
Maybe I'm interested because one of my favorite books was written like that, but I think it would be really cool.

But I agree that most people wouldn't have the attention span for something that reads at book-pace rather than "shoot em up action movie" speed. It's sad.
