Get over yourself. Old show is old.

He gets away with all of it and becomes a lumberjack. There I just saved you a lot of bad episodes since the ones after Rita dies suck.

I had no desire to watch after Rita died, and judging the fan reactions, Dexter post Rita was straight up garbage.

I didn't see the ending to the series (I've only ever seen a couple episodes at my sister's place), but I remember when I first heard about that ending online, and it cracked me the fuck up. It still does. Such a random, absurd way to end this kind of a show.

I got bad news for you...the show becomes terrible. Just stop now while you are ahead.

There's no need for that. This is just one of the minor inconveniences of watching an older show that ended years ago. If you cannot deal with it, then maybe you should avoid older shows.

Yup! I watched X-Files and The Wire years after they aired. I got spoiled for stuff. It happens when watching old stuff. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Agreed. I dumped the show shortly after they did so.

Rita was one of my favorite parts of the series, as was her relationship with Dexter. I dropped the series after she was offed. I've got no time for that fridging bullshit.

Dexter and Rita were very cute together. Watch a few clips of them with the sound muted. They are super domestic and sweet when you don't hear Dexter's monologues.

Lol, I remember I started Dexter about a week after season four finished and then I got spoiled on Rita dying by a random article while I was still midway through s1...
