17.) I've never read an Anne Rice book before, and I never will. Since I am planning on trying to publish my own series of vampire novels (not so much series; perhaps two books), she makes me cringe and brings wangst into the genre. From what I've read and seen, she is self-centered and inconsiderate of her fanbase. And without a fanbase, your novels mean absolutely nothing. And the one she does had or did have she likes to shove away.

Uh, that's your fault. Responsibility. Learn it. I've stayed up way too late reading fanfiction before when I had a paper due, I know the feeling; you're just sitting there reading and then you look up and suddenly it's two in the morning. But jeez, at least I recognized that it was my fault and got up a few hours earlier than usual to make up for it. It's not your fandom's fault you failed. The fanfiction didn't jump out of the computer and MAKE you read it, did it?

61. Much I was looking for to the game (and actually not for the slash), the second game was a HUGE disappointment. The worlds were smaller as so with the story (although I did enjoy the battle system, Sora's "OMFG SANTA!" response, the reunion and pretty much all of everything that wasn't about the worlds that felt like a retread of the first of the game) and Pridelands SUCKED. I played that world half-sleep (catching hyenas + dark as hell shitty TV + nodding off to sleep = D:< ) until the boss fight. I would've gladly waited another year if it had more material. Game was mostly shitty.

But for some odd reason, I still want to play the Final Mix +. Ugh.

66. This was me, so, so many times in college. Fuck, I even wrote fanfics when I was supposed to turn in my term papers for my writing class the same day once.

08. Lurking in TWoP made that a bad habit of mine. Even when I didn’t contribute in the fandom (which would have been a good thing, since I was 14 at the time), I still followed the fandom currents while watching my shows. It got to the point when I was already huffing in self-righteousness the moment a female character appeared, unless she was one of the sanctioned few who ‘passed’. Once I broke THAT habit, I found that I had a much richer love for my shows.

Liking women, even though they’re fictional, made me feel better about myself.
