42. Oh, I agree that the ending was really sad. I mean the whole story has him learning how to make a home in the jungle and gathering enough wits to survive in that place and then BAM! Tangential insta-solution! Oh well, at least Bagheera's still kinda hot.

53. I sort of agree with this secret but it could be said for any pairing with a large adolescent fan base in any fandom, really. I'm sure there are lots of writers who do try to write more deeply into the possibilities of the relationship, but superficially, I definitely see why the ship's fandom may give off this impression. I do wonder though, for all that Katara's meant to be 'good' for Zuko, I've only come across one piece of fannish speculation that addressed my query of 'what's in it for Katara?'

Well, perhaps this is spoilers. But I will say this: the Venom endings ACTUALLY END ON A GOOD NOTE. That is right. Venom, eternal bitchboy of the GG-universe, finally gets to end on top for once. I don't know how it goes with Millia, but Venom finally gets to shine.

37. But you're forgetting that Japan is a mostly homogeneous country, meaning it's possible to live in Japan without seeing a foreigner once in a lifetime. Japan don't have the diversity thinking like most Western cities do and that reflect in anime and manga although that's slowly changing.
