7) Attempting to be sympathetic...failing. You know what? Kira was a broken ball of putty at that time. Although she was also working through the death of her father, she was the one who pushed their relationship in this direction. Furthermore, she was the one who had explicitly malicious intent behind her actions. And eventually, Kira wised up and wanted to cool the relationship, but she still wanted to lure him in with the power of VAGINA. No. She got a little better by the end, but still.

I do have to qualify my response a little bit. She did eventually get redeemed, and I appreciate that, but then again, the way the whole Fllay/Kira arc concluded seemed contrite and marred by bad writing, severely compromising the weight of her redemption.

Also, I was continually astonished by all of SEED/GSD's gender stereotyping and biological determinism. WTF, Sunrise? "It's not what you make of yourself that's important--it's what your genes make of you. Unless you're betrothed and related to other such genetically superior beings. That's okay, too."

7) In Fllay's case, it really depends on the person (more if they've finished the series). Because her attitude and her actions are supposed to make you go "u-uh." at the beginning. I've rewatched SEED a few times, and even knowing what happens later with her, you get the same feeling from the beginning of the series. I think that's part of what makes her character so very awesome.

If people who have finished the series act that way and say those things, then yeah, they're kind of uh. (of course, not all character types mesh well with people, so if people Just Don't Like Her it sucks if they're pushed in with the lame people) XD But from what I've seen, they're in a minority, usually it's just the passing people or people who don't. Get the idea of emotional turmoil and can't see how obvious it is that she's the way she is for a reason.

90% of everything is crap, 99% of Lorne-y fic is crap. Sweeping generalisations are the spice of life.
people bigging up Lorne while neglecting to even mention Teyla, Ronan or Ford irritates me and makes me a sad panda. And can't help but seem a little skeevy on their part.
True Fandom lol. I like the show for what it is, I don't make someone who's barely even a recurring character into a main part when they're entirely coincidentally a white male, over a bunch of really awesome COC and women. not that I'm saying SGA's great on that front, but at least the show makes some kind of effort.

17. That really sucks. :( And I hear you somewhat. I sometimes wish I was a soprano just so I could sing AiM's songs.
But I don't think you should totally give up or anything. I obviously don't know the exact range of your voice, but there are some really pretty songs that don't totally screech into the high ends of heaven. Off the top of my head Utada Hikaru and Koda Kumi come to mind as singers who aren't totally high. Some songs are higher than others, of course. And random anime will occasionally have lower songs sung by females.
You could always try to improve your range just a little, too, if it makes you that uncomfortable, plus range-improving improves your voice anyway.
Don't fear, little alto! You may have to search for some songs that you can sing well at, but that's no reason to be ashamed. In the meantime, sing songs an octave down if you feel the need, or just kick some ass with your super-low notes. :D

Tip for a singer that isn't completely high: Nagase Miyu. She's been making her voice a bit higher recently, but overall, she has a deeper voice than most JPop singers. I especially recommend her solo songs back when she was in her band, before she went solo. Here's, let me find a few links...

As a Fllay fan, I can say that there's good reason people dislike her, and I don't think that should be discounted, but I also believe she was written in a very believable and somewhat empathizable way by the end of the series. So just have an open mind. :D I think that's what SEED was about anyway.
