2. I agree with you, sans the whole 'I want them to break up again' thing. Their angst was cool, and I loved the arcs where they were like that. But I also want them to be happy. I'm a British fan of both shows, and why on earth shouldn't Americans be fans as well? D'you really have to follow something from the very beginning to be a fan? (Have you been watching Doctor Who since it started, in the mid 1960s? Didn't think so.)

I, just...what?

And besides, if ALL American exported television suddenly disappeared from British screens, we'd have a massive gap on all channels. Why should you have to stick to your own country for decent television?

US TV sucks ass compared to UK TV. Who do you think you are telling me I can't watch the shows I love just because I carry a blue passport? I KNOW not all British people are like the characters on the show. Really. I'm smart enough to know that Britain, like the US, is full of all different kinds of people. Anyway, I'm gonna keep watching the shows I love and do it PROUDLY just to piss off American-hating assholes like you.
PS: I blast Billie Piper songs and sing along while I drive...on the "right" side of the road. (And if you consider them classics, I laugh at you. 1999-2000 wasn't THAT LONG AGO.) Fuck you.

As the person who is quoted in that secret (at least, I think I am), let me assure you that it wasn't a statement about all Zutara fans. It's just an observation I made about the Zutara fanbase as a whole. If you say you like Zutara, I don't assume that you just want into Zuko's pants. I don't see the appeal of the ship my own self, but I'm good friends with people who do, and that's certainly not why they like it. It's a general case observation, not one that's necessarily going to apply to the specific case.
