3. Spiral energy is fascinating. And obviously there's a lot of genetic manipulation going on. Look at the beast men, and Viral's apparent immortality. There's plenty of science going on there. But when fans latch onto something, they won't let go. Perhaps if you started a science of Gurren Lagann comm, you could gather some people to discuss all this stuff. I'd join.

08. Eroguro of either sex tends to be drawn in different styles, and the pics you chose are excellent examples. I find that the males being mutilated to tend to seem as if they are enjoying it, whereas the females tend not to. Exceptions abound, of course, but that's my observation.

61. While I agree that the vitriol in Who fandom is scary and unnecessary, I hate it when people use "it's just a kids' show!" as part of any argument. The fact that it's created primarily for children doesn't mean adults aren't allowed to take it seriously, or that it's not subject to the same scrutiny that adult shows are. And it's not an excuse for sucking, which it does rather frequently of late.
