2. Sort of agree, mostly in the fact that all the trailers--to me, anyway--have made the soon-to-be Two Face SO MUCH MRE INTERESTING than Joker. Not saying I dislike this Joker (I really, really don't), but GOOD GOD this Harvey Dent is amazing!

8. Just about all eroguro bugs me, but I do agree with you about hetero male-dom. Especially seeing that Japan LOVES to depict even consensual hetero sex with the girl crying and protesting. :|

08. I don't think it's hypocritical. Men don't suffer the same kind of sexual and physical violence that women do in real life, so there's a much thicker line between fantasy and reality. When it's women, it's much harder to seperate out, because shit like that really does happen and there are enough people who hurt, rape and kill to make it significantly more uncomfortable.

37. Yeah, whatever. The way I heard it, it was some Slytherfen morons who chose the name to be ~*~*~edgy~*~*~ and to make their fairly run-of-the-mill HP RPG sound a lot edgier than it was. And no, they shouldn't get away with that shit. I'm glad people called them on it. I'm not sure what it has to do with writing about sexual abuse, because I'm sure most of the people who do write about sexual abuse would still object to a JonBenet Ramsey RP character.

11. I like how you worded your secret (come on, how often does one see the words 'proportional' or 'justification' on FS?), but I really loathed what Thomas Harris did to Lecter in that book. By justifying his actions, he completely obliterated the character's entire point. He's a serial killer, not Batman. Hannibal himself says in SotL: "You can't reduce me to a set of functions." It's not that simple. ...And then Harris went and reduced him. (And then he was eaten, and there was much rejoicing.)
