I don't see why you still can't ship it. It's not the fans fault, Tokyo Majin is a rather old series- you actually could basically ship anyone together, regardless of what the anime says.

17- I watched that movie for the first time last year, aged 20, and I sobbed. It's heartbreaking when Ash 'dies'.
30- Or maybe they, you know, PRACTICE a lot and just got lucky? Don't say no one doesn't deserve their talent. Maybe that's the only thing in the whole of their young lives they're good at.

44- I thought that Clamp only did the character designs of it? It IS fugly, though. Urgh.

Urgh, I know how you feel, its incredibly frustrating when you work for years to try and make your art look good, and then see someone so much younger who seems to do amazing pieces with barely any effort.

But don't let it discourage you, you can be jsut as good so long as you keep trying, and you can't blame them for being able to draw well really.

30. Wow you're a dick. I wish I had that sort of crazy natural brilliance too, but I don't begrudge others of it. Hell, fuck you, maybe they've actually worked harder than you. Sure, they're probably naturally inclined towards it, but for all you know, not all of them are. Maybe some of them genuinely bust their asses. If you're jealous, be jealous, but don't begrudge them what they have. Take your jealousy and use it to drive yourself to be better.

44. The art isn't great, no. It sort of works with the show, though. I still think it has it's moments of true WTFUGLY, but overall, the cartoony look fits. It's not like they're going for something toned down - the show is over the top and FABULOUS at it's best. I think the style suits it, even though I don't actually find it attractive myself. Ridiculous and kind of endearing in it's freakiness, perhaps.

With that said, I liked the art better in the first season than the second; less wide thin smiles and face distortions. If only CLAMP could stop with the skinny as hell bodies and abnormally long legs, but alas!
