I hate it because it makes me feel embarrassed if I'm not as good as they are (or weren't as good as they are when I was that age), but I would never make an idiotic statement like, "You don't deserve your talent." Seriously? I don't think you understand what art is about if that's your attitude. You scare me.

6. Yeah, you're not getting any friends that way. My friends like all sorts of pairings, canon or not and while I might not always agree with them, we can agree to disagree and be friends despite it. Really, I doubt I'd want to be friends with you either and I am a bit of a bitch myself.

16. I do the same thing, but some of my favourite movies tend to tweak history and while I know that I know better, I still love them. Right now I'm wishing that The Tudors would fuck history, but sadly I know how it's going to end and it pains and annoys me despite the fact that I really should know better.

46. It is an adult only site. Yeah, sure when I was 15 I was writing porn and what not, but at the same time the site has rules and one of them is you have to be 18 to join. I don't even really like Y! and just recently deleted my submissions and don't plan on returning, but no one wants a lawsuit because some 15 year old's mother found them looking at gay sex.

8. I'm going to imagine that Neliel made this secret. Because it makes me happy. (If fandom catered purely to my wishes, there would be so much more porn fic for them out there than there is.)

10. I know, right? It had some beautiful animation and a few neat image ideas, but aside from that you'd never think a story about a swordfighting crossdressing French spy inhabited by the spirit of his dead sister could be that boring. To me, it was like Romeo and Juliet or Gankutsuou--they're all very expensively done and totally uninspired and dull. Reminds me of those mediocre three hour long Oscar bait period piece movies.

49. IAWTS. The whole BSG canon is too fascinating as a whole and as is, to be especially invested in any single ship or any piece to the exclusion/detriment of the rest. Whatever serves the story best is fine. (Admittedly I do lust vaguely after more Kara/Leoben...still not going to ~riot~ or even be all that disappointed if it doesn't happen, though)

63. ...well, I certainly wouldn't say 'best anime ever' (I could've done with a more original/interesting art style and character design, at very least--moeblobs are not my thing), still, Simoun was pretty good. I guess I just have my definition wrong. I figure a fandom is a collective fanbase for a series. and I'm a fan of tons of series...I guess I just want someone to talk to that won't misinterpret things and twist characters into things they're not.

I guess I was just ranting at the extreme, totally impossible ideas that seem to come to the surface...cuz really, there can be some nice art/fic that seems pretty canonical.

6.) It's hard to be in Fandom if your a Fan of something and have no interest in any of the Fan-Fiction or other junk, but still want to talk about it. Even though, being a fan of the canon still leads to people coming up with absurd and stupid speculation. Or completely being oblivious to plot points. Sometimes a plot point is just a plot point, seriously people. O_o;;; (There is one Fandom with stupid speculation that is truely LOL WUT....it's a Fandom in it's baby stages.) That's why I've pretty much quit bothering. I only go to snap up icons and that's about it anymore.

I don't mind spoofs. Any other kind of Fan-Fiction or stupid shipping or whatever, doesn't interest me.

Maybe you could create a community where people can talk about TV Show/Manga/etc without the overbearing Fandom aspect?

35 - I think there are/were comms for the movie versions of X-Men and Batman, so maybe there will be one for Iron Man.

I think it's the ships that really drive me up the wall the most. I can understand some of the reasons for certain pairings, but...some...just...completely outlandish. I have no idea how people can come up with such things! XD;

Some of my friends find it hysterical, others think i'm a flake and can't finish what I started, and I think some don't know. 52. The merchandise issue with them isn't as we all thought it was. Just all of their merchandise is released much later than it is for the other three. They had ball joint dolls made for them later on, and I saw an image of Komachi's VA holding a costume for Cure Mint from the first season (I'm assuming they released one for Rouge, too). Buuuut it's still a shame, especially since I haven't seen that merchandise for sale online, either. I've only heard about it. It's probably much rarer. As for airtime, I still hold that it's pretty equal between all the girls with the exception of Nozomi and now Kurumi.

59. Well Amu's actually 11 right now in the story, but I see what you're getting at. I'm not a huge fan of the show but I do like the couple, regardless of their ages. Amu's pretty mature anyway.
