Magic is. Maybe it's self-delusion to say it, but it's as real as you let it be. Giant flaming fireballs, flight and the like? Maybe not. But a little more luck? Some intense experiences in self-discovery and tickling the weirdness around you? Very possible.

Pick up "Liber Null & Psychonaut" by Peter J. Carroll, "Condensed Chaos" by Phil Hine, "Postmodern Magic" by Patrick Dunn and/or "the Book of Lies" by Disinformation Press.

Hardly the be-all, end-all, but those are where I got started.

I like Ouendan, but EBA's my favorite of the three. (Just barely edging out Ouendan 2, but WAAAAAY ahead of Ouendan 1--I only like three or so songs in that game, the rest are all ehhh at best) Orange Range? L'arc~en~Ciel? They got nothing on Queen, Bowie, Deep Purple, Earth Wind and Fire, or the Rolling Goddamn Stones.

Also, while the original Ouendan team (Red Team, Evening city, whatever you call them) kicks ass, the Bluendan are lame and the Agents are better than both >_>

But hey, this is why everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and just because I hate Ready Steady Go with a passion doesn't mean everyone else does. :D

3. It sucked because they tried to fit a bazillion novels into a few episodes!!! Ok, it didn't suck, but it didn't hold up either. There was too much material in too little time. They could have done it better.

4. It wasn't a gift. Genome wanted an eternal little messenger. He was amused by the fact that Viral thought he could ever beat a spiral being. He knew that it would torture Viral. It was pretty fucked up. And now that Viral has gone on to make friends, he gets to watch them all die. Yeah, that's a real nice gift.

For the nth time - yes, I know they only did the character designs. I was talking about those. They're ugly, bad animation only makes them even more ugly. For me, anyway.

3 - I need to get a sub of this. I got a copy of the English, but it was a dub! I couldn't believe there wasn't even an option for the Japanese and English subtitles! :(

24 - I so stopped watching Power Rangers after the first two or three seasons. Once they got rid of the original characters, it just sucked. Although, I guess technically the Japanese version was better since it was funnier. Still.

32 - FFVI FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!! This series got me into the world of RPG video games, video games in general, and role-playing. My sister loves Locke/Celes, I love Locke/Terra, and we've had years to hate each other for it. We just don't bring it up. :P But yes, FFVI and VII were the two best FFs in my opinion, in every way. Forget the pretty visuals, I want great characters and plot! :)

33 - Good luck. Ship wars are harsh. I'm not even in that fandom, but yeah. Stay out of it, if you can.

35 - Comic book fandom IS elitist. I avoid it. Forget about them--write the fic and say it's movie!verse. People can suck it.

40 - Odd secret. But, I've seen people who try to practice real magic, religions and such that offer that, and it's sort of creepy and the effects are totally not worth it. Instead of feeling depressed for it not being real, why not make original stories about what you want? Or submit stuff to the fandom. You can live out your fantasies in that way, at least. Role-playing's good, too.

9. I'm just a lurker so I don't know any of the muns personally, but from what I see the Kristoph has an interesting backstory that makes far more sense than his reasoning in the game. Although I'm not familiar with them, I think they would/should be willing to listen to your criticisms if you phrase them politely.

32. FFVI! Don't worry, you're not the only one who feels like that. I think the characters of the game (all 14 of them!) have such a strong bond that no other main cast of the FF series can compare to. Don't be afraid to ship what you want!

06. if you hate fanfics (there are gen and canon fanfics that try to bridge gap to scenes or get the other perspective you know), and most art and pairings (as what could be creepy to you may not be creepy to other people or vice versa), why do you want fandom friends? I guess for discussions, yes? but that'd suck cause they wouldn't be able to go "what if...wouldn't that be neat?" with you. Sucks that you can't be accomodating to normal means of fandom.
