129: I read the book because of that quote and it was terribly boring. Now I feel like I have to quote that, the only good part in the book, as my badge of honor for making it all the way through.

Oh, yes, I have a few people on my watchlist on DA, too, who are just drawing the way Jhonen does. I don't like their art much because it looks like a knock-off. And that's why I avoid the fandom...

I agree, but that's because they are my OT4. I have trouble reading fics that exclude a character based on gender or preference. They all sort of fit together in a way that makes it impossible to separate them.

But yeah, Lenalee gets a lot of unreasonable hate from some fans. Or she gets turned into a rabid yaoi fangirl who whole heartedly supports the other three getting it on. Either way, I have trouble reading fics that bash her or write her OOC. Why, fandom?

That's becase it IS sexist, dearie. Pureblood females ring a bell? And the second Yuuki stopped kicking butt and became something to protect [who's the one with the stick here?!] it became hideously sexist. I have hope that she'll pull out of it, but not much.

113- this is why I ship J/B. Because I have a best friend just like Jake- and I relate to their situation so much. Plus Edward/Bella is an unhealthy relationship in my opinion. So yeah for personal reasons and because I just think it’s healthier I’ve always shipped Jake/Bella- despite the fact that makes me automatically unpopular in fandom! :D

Lol, would you mind if I add you? I definitely need more J/B shippers on my f-list. ;)

You can have Palpatine. I find him heartless and arrogant and his power isn't sexy. (But hey, thats just me!)

I usually make my own icons because I like doing it. I'm not half as good as a lot of other icon-makers, but it's satisfying for me to put an icon together to my thoughts and my mood with my ideas, and then use it for myself. I do use other people's icons, I just generally prefer making my own because it's fun and is a good feeling when I'm done.

FTW. I just finished reading the books earlier this week and Bella/Edward was kind of interesting and romantic in the first book. AND THEN IT JUST GOT REALLY MESSED UP AND MANIPULATIVE. Jacob is so much better for Bella, but sometimes I think he's too good for her. She's kind of an idiot.

A-FUCKING-MEN. I'm a religious audience of TVB dramas, but my goodness, the stereotypes pisses the shit out of me. I remember just the other day, one of the male characters has AIDs and guess what. He's a homosexual. LOL HONG KONG 8l

105: What. Some of us only use our own work because we only like using our own work. I think using someone else's icons, even with permission, shows a stark lack of creativity and a conformist bent. That doesn't mean I hate other people who do use them. I just know it's not for me. When the hell did everyone's icon sets become srs bsns?

Rather than bitch about this or that, it's much more productive to be respectful of each other's experiences with the SMT series and not have a hissy fit over how -- OMG NO WAY!! -- some people are interested in different games in a widely variable series. You bring up good points that not many people realize; I'm pretty sure that if you made your thoughts public in SMT fandom, many would agree with you.
