141. Uh, why would fandom lynch you? I mean, so what if a lot of people ship Fakir/Ahiru? PT fandom has been one of the nicest and most comfortable and open-minded fandoms I have ever been a part of. Although I can't say I agree with your secret, since the official fanguide says Fakir--->Ahiru is canon by the second season (not on the return from her end, though :P). And for the record? I'm a huge Fakir/Ahiru shipper, but I have two really close friends who like the Fakir/Mytho pairing a lot. It sure as heck does not affect our friendship. o_Oa And we don't have shipping wars or anything silly like that.

As one of the said close friends that likes Fakir/Mytho (and...everything else) I can attest to this.

That being said, I'm starting to feel like our fandom needs to liven up a bit. I'm seriously tempted to use the Fakir 31_days challenge just to introduce some really bizarre pairings and get people more comfortable with shipping whatever they feel like shipping. Fakir/Mytho. Fakir/Ahiru. Fakir/Autor. Fakir/Raetsel. Fakir/OAK TREE. FAKIR/EDEL. FAKIR/FEM--okay maybe not that far.

112. You know, I found it inspiring for the same reason. The episode where the main character unintentionally goes to the island with the would-be suicide group and ends up inspiring them and being supported by all of them -- and how the hikkikomori eventually grow up and get jobs and are able to see life outside of the world they've created for themselves. I think it ought to be required watching for fans because it confronts so much -- and then people overcome their situations in realistic ways.

114. That ain't necessarily so. I, a self-conflicted Doctor/Himself And No One Else shipper, really just wish that RTD would put Rose down. However, if the Doctor reaches some kind of closure with her, maybe he'll stop rattling on about her to the other Much Awesomer companions (Donna, Martha). Don't get me wrong- during S1 and S2, I adored Rose (still do, a bit) and was very sad when she had to leave. That being said- she's really overstayed her welcome, and the Doctor's been whining a bit too much about her.

I have to disagree with you. Just because a fandom is big doesn't mean it's guaranteed to have nice icons for it. I wouldn't consider the Angel Sanctuary fandom to be small, for example, and yet I still haven't found icons that I like for the series. I think iconists edit Yuki Kaori's art too much for my tastes, so as a result I don't have any AS icons at all.

And just out of curiosity what do you consider wank? I'm not saying that you don't have legitimately wanky D/R friends. But I'm tired of seeing innocent bash-free meta and squee posts considered wank because it happens to be about Rose.

On a non-Rose front, I personally hope Turn Left doesn't suck because Donna has been completely gypped out of good screentime lately. She's being tossed aside in this Moffat arc and Midnight is a Donna-lite episode.

*nod nod* Agreed. People think just because I ship House/Wilson that it means I'd be violently unhappy if they ended up with anyone else. The truth? Yeah, it'd be freaking AWESOME if House/Wilson were to become canon. But honestly, I don't care. I loved Wilson being with Amber because he was happy, and I don't care if they both end up alone, as long as they find some sort of joy. I mean, seriously, could the show possibly get any more depressing?

It feels so overblown that the Heavenly Dragons are ALL that monstruous. Which is odd because this is the first time I've ever had any similiar issues with OP villains, I accepted Arlong being a gigantic doubledick, I accepted Ener being a lazy magnum-dick, I accepted Rob Lucci being one hot piece of dick, despite these characters being jsut as overblown as the Heavenly Dragons, but them...
