122: You may be pleased to hear that Gemstone is bringing out a collection of the complete Carl Barks Donald Duck comics (http://www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=44652). I know I was. And loving those comics is nothing to be ashamed of -- Carl Barks and Don Rosa are VERY highly thought of in the American comics scene. Barks, in particular, is spoken of in reverential tones. You'd have more reason for shame if you'd read them and didn't see what the fuss was about...

120. We are talking about Dean here, right? Rather than Jensen? Because I don't think any of us in fandom know Jensen well enough to say what he thinks. It's possible I'm just being Functionally Illiterate on this one.

131. The difference is that no one (okay, very few people) ever have to "come out" as straight. And even if they consistently date people of a different gender in canon, there's nothing to say they aren't bi. But when there's a Gay Character in the canon, in my experience, they have to make a statement of it at some point, and I put a lot more weight on statements the characters make than I do on the cultural assumption that everyone's straight until proven otherwise.
