Also, Duck Tales was quite, so stop being so elitist and enjoy it as another incarnation of the comic. The superhero comic people seem to be able to deal with all the different 'canons' in the different media.

Yep, it's a Don Rosa one. I actually looked for a Barks one first, but (during my very quick and not at all thorough search) was unable to locate an image that was big enough, and had all five ducks in it in a suitably adventurous-looking pose. Anyway, I love Rosa too... I used to have the biggest geek-crush on him.

And I was exaggerating my feelings about DuckTales... I don't actually hate it. I just wish that more fans of the show were aware of where the characters originated. But yeah, I guess that did come across as pretty elitist. :P

Quite honestly, I'd rather not have any baseball teams fucking me up. And that guy's eyebrows and upper lip scare me.

I like Oofuri because it's more realistic than a lot of sports animes. Half the players aren't really that good, and even the good players have their faults. And of course they're kind of cutesy, a good chunk of them are probably still in the middle of puberty. I don't know what manga you got those images from, but I've never seen such hulking, hairy monoliths in Japan before. They look like shaved bears.

And yes, I do like the BL, and I regret nothing.

Y'know if you're going to argue with that angle, i can pretty much argue back saying that there are no blond ninjas in japan, nor are there any mecha robots that fly into space, or any pink haired girls that have giant-aliens as parents.

As much as i love Oofuri, because i really do, at least i've given both a chance. It seems to me like you don't even know what Rookies is. As yes, half of the players in Rookies aren't really that good, and even the good players have their faults too.
