As I said somewhere else, the fact that Cassie/Dean managed to be the most ridiculous, annoying and awkward aspect of an episode about a racist, anthropomorphic truck probably has at least a little to do with it.

Personally, I have less problem with Cassie/Dean than I do with SPN's clumsy ass attempt at addressing racial issues. Oh so cringe inducing.

Wow do IAWTC and I think I might have major love for you.

That was pretty ridiculous, and it was horribly done.

*sighs* alas I am apparantly "another female-character-hating fangirl." and the only reason I didn't like the episode was "you hate her because she fucked Dean and you didn't."

It wasn't because Megan whats her face had Zero chemistry with Jensen, or it wasn't just her that sucked, it was the whole concept of "Zomg killer racist truck heeellp meee..." that was utterly lame and an episode I never want to see again.

135. Agreed. IMHO, it wasn't absolutely horrific, but I just felt it was too trite and melodramatic for my tastes. And I find the wank surrounding it now to be both amusing and sad at the same time.

141. I suppose it depends on who you're dealing with. It's true that fandom has a short attention span, but if you do something particularly egregious or if you're dealing with complete jerks, you won't be forgiven so quickly. As long as you apologize and lay low for a while, you should be fine.

120. lol or you could watch the rest of the series and see the character development and that the whole point was NOT believing in someone else who believes in you, but believing in yourself. It's fine not to like a series after watching it - or even to say you didn't like the little bit you watched, but don't act as if you know everything about it before you've seen it. This goes for any fandom, not just Gurren Fag-ann.
