166. I get that, I love Donna to death myself, but WTF is with all the RTD haters? Sure, I get that she should have got a different send off, but I find it so heartbreakingly appropriate (no matter how much it makes me cry), I'm not sure I'd feel the same had it been anything else (well, apart from death, which, thank god, didn't happen).

I'm not really sure I can agree that robbing a character of a year and then some (don't forget the development she went through in Runaway Bride, too) of extremely well done development in order to leave the doctor SAAAAAAAAAAAAD AND ALOOOOOOOOOONE (not to mention turning the Doctor into Asshole McMindrape to do it) is ever really an appropriate choice.

But, that's beside the point really. People dislike RTD because he is a substandard writer who tries to tell stories that are completely beyond his ability. They are full of Deus Ex Machinas, reset buttons, and heavy handed Jesus imagery.

#108 - You know, I don't like their movies in general, but not really because of the jodi, more because of the genres. But, yes, I found it very cute when Salman was mentioning Katrina to Imraan and Aamir. :)

Saif/Kareena on-screen seems to be getting out of hand. Every second movie is going to star them. :P

#156 - Hahaha. When I was younger, I didn't watch the dub, 'cause I didn't have Cartoon Network, but my best friend did. She talked to me about it all the time. Then one day, she said she learned about the REAL ships that happened in the original. She tried to explain it to me, and it got so confusing that she had to start drawing a diagram, lol! Here we were, two grade 6 girls in the middle of the library, drawing out the most convoluted love polygon of all time. XD

Oh my god hahahaha, I did exactly the same thing with my friend xD The original is so much more confusing, in an awesome way xD

That might be because for a lot of people, what makes the show is the characters. Without them there'd be no show.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this comment.

The plot makes something good, the characters make it amazing... or in this person's case bad. It's easy to have a great plot with poor characters (essentially since, GL is HIGHLY plot-driven), and you can have a poor plot with amazing characters. Sometimes the characters can make the plot less irritating and sometimes the plot can lose its value based on the characters. GL could have had different characters and therefore still exist... it just wouldn't be what it is.

There is a Wall-E fandom but pretty much all the fics so far are nice reflective ones from Wall-E's point of view about the world he's living in while he's by himself, and how he felt when he discovered EVE, and so on. Pretty tame and nice. Nothing dramatic or horrific has occured yet XD
