I'm not familiar with him, but unless he is actively trying to convert nonbelievers he is not 'shoving it down your throat' by talking about something that means a lot to him. No more than your flailing foaming secret is, anyway.

I'm sure he knows there are non-Christians in the world. And considering there are plenty of people who have unbelievably painful things happen to them and end up CONVERTING to Christianity, I don't think your story's going to up and make him feel guilty. I'm not even a Christian, and it sort of pisses me off that people grieve by saying God is imaginary while subsequently railing at Him like he's a real entity. You can believe whichever you want, just make up your mind and don't go pissing at other people about it.

Not agreeing with the secret poster and pretty much agreeing with you that yeah, no, hating God =/= atheism, but just wanted to clear up the confusion of you not being familiar with him! He's not actively trying to convert people, but he does make quite a few people uncomfortable and angry by making it a point to bring up both Christianity and his own homophobia at pretty much every panel he does. And I'm not one to hate a few mentions of God, or someone saying they thank him or whatever- my Choir teacher did it ALL the time, and I love her to death, seriously- but when it's a forty minute panel and he brings up his religion and how slash is icky and disrespectful etcetera, thereby alienating people who are uncomfortable with constant mentions of religion AND any homosexuals/bisexuals in the crowd, for a huge chunk of the panel, he's definitely going a bit overboard with the hot-button topics there.
