Oh, Mitchell. It's still the episode I use to introduce people to the series, because it's damn near perfect. It's the nature of the beast, though, that some episodes are going to be awful. A movie like Sidehackers is so bad that not even constant riffing can save it.

Controlling them, even only in fiction, is squicky because it feels kind of like overriding their free will - like, if they want to sleep with someone, they'll do it IRL. Fictional characters can't want to do anything of their own accord because they only exist in our heads, so it's okay to do what you like with them. That's why RPS squicks me, in any case. Also, I imagine them seeing it and being all WTF?. Pretend people can't do that.
