That's a tragedy. I'm good friends with a person who was intimately involved in the making of this film, so it pains me when someone won't even give it a try because of something as superficial as the look of a mustache.

(And yes, Jack and Ennis actually do share some happy moments together.)

Wait, what? Japan's a fandom, not a fucking country?!?

I'm a TESOL major, planning on going to Japan to teach English, and I hate most anime and "weeaboo" culture. I think other aspects of Japanese culture are interesting, and anime is only a very, very small part of it that happened to gain noteriety in the US. However, it is kind of the opposite at my school, I'm one of the only non-weeaboos in my department -_-.

The thing is, the programme she is in is "Modern Japanese Popular Culture" and I've been to Japan, those things are a big part of it. Maybe her schoolmates prefer terebi-doramas to anime, and the music that is actually popular to idol bands and visual-kei. But if they're not into modern popular culture, why study it? Not the OP. I only wish.

I used to like him and defend him (the character AND the actor) to all the haters. Until I found out first hand what an asshole he (Ted Raimi) was in real life. Then a lot of the things I'd read made a lot more sense.

109. I loved Claymore and have tried to get many of my friends into it. Badass women with swords ftw.

151. I went to one of his panels at Animazement this year although it was a combo panel with Kyle Hebert and I was really there for him and the amount of times Vic talked about god repulsed me. Sure, I have beliefs but I don't shove them in everyone's face and religion is a touchy, red-flag subject to begin with. When he said that god has given him everything good in his life, I turned to one of my friends and asked "Which god?" and about 5 people behind me gave me a look of horror. I guess I forgot to bring a bible to bang on.
