I would like to thank Kishimoto-sensei one day. Not for Naruto, but for Lee. I wonder if he realizes how much Lee has touched people's lives.

I never liked Naoto. Not even when I thought she was male. Now I have just another reason to not like her, I guess, since I´m never partial to females in fandom in general.

Out of curiousity, why is that? You don't think most creators do an adequate job of portraying females, or a dislike for females in general?

183. I absolutely refuse to see it for exactly that reason. Especially because of her. I was a HUGE fan of the series before now. I read massive amounts of fanfic and I could probably recite the first film verbatim. I am unashamed. I still love the first two films to death.

But, good actress or not, Maria Bello can kiss my sorry ass. That is not my Evie. I won't see it without my Evie. She was the reason I fell in love with the films in the first place.

I hope the film tanks hard so they'll knock it off, but I know it probably won't, and then we'll have to suffer through even more of this bullshit.

I'm also a little disgusted that they continued forward with the series without Stephen Somers.

I know what you mean, 117. There are actors who make me feel the same way. I want to be them as much as I'm attracted to them. (I'm female, fairly straight).

I've settled for working out, doing things with confidence, letting myself feel butch now and then... and accepting quietly in my heart that I'll never have Diesel's guns or Statham's body.

But yeah, I feel you.

And you can be a butch straight woman. There are good quality straight guys out there who fantasize about Wonder Woman and She-Hulk. LolFreud says: Outdated gender roles are outdated.

101. I'd hope you don't feel too left out of fandom just because you can't buy a lot of merch. Though I probably do have the money to buy a bit of it, I tend to not, and i'm sure a lot of people are the same. Just enjoying your chosen fandom should be enough!

138. I love Phoenix/Maya, but i'm way too afraid the fandom will burn me at the stake because of it, so I stay way the hell away from that fandom. :|

176. Eh, i'll continue to download fansubs, and really, they're not losing money from me, because I wouldn't buy the licensed DVD's, manga etc even if I couldn't get the fansubs.

Sailor Moon is still my favorite anime of all-time, no matter what else I watch. I'm proud of it too. Don't make it feel like you're inferior -- Sailor Moon and Pokemon are both awesome.

173. Maybe this is just because I'm a DC comics fan already and a lot of people are being introduced, but that is actually the whole point of the Batman and Joker dynamic. XD It's what they are MEANT to be which is why I loved the movie so much. *_* It showed the characters so perfectly in their relationship. If you liked their relationship, check out Arkham Asylum by Grant Morrison. It's strange and hella creepy, BUT it goes more into the similarities between Batman and the villains (totally the best part of Batman). It's basically Joker giving Batman a guided tour through Arkham. (Special note to people who ship it: Joker repeatedly calls Batman "honey" and even gropes him. HILARIOUS.)

180.Heheh, it was like that for me except the other way around. I really felt bad too :/ They are both amazing series, though. I wish HDM had more of a fandom, sometimes.

178. I've only ever managed to finish playing P3 due to unfortunate circumstances, but I've seen enough of the other Megaten females to know that you have to be deluded or a troll.
(Granted, I liked the idea of Naoto as a guy, but I think she'll kick ass either way. I don't care about their gender as long as they're awesome.)

Ever since I was very little, I've been interested in the Buddhist way of life - it seemed so peaceful and just...nice. The older I got, the more interested I became in it, and I told some people that I would probably try to convert. They all basically laughed, so I dropped it. Thanks to seeing this show, I'm seriously considering making the switch. Aang's firm belief in peace is so inspiring, I think it's going to be the final straw for me.

Writing a 10 page chapter that took weeks and countless re-reads to get it typo-free and real tight psychologically and narratively, and then to get a couple reviews that say, in essence, "Loved it! Please continue! Update soon!" As if there hadn't been a fucking thing worthy of specific comment in the entire chapter. Lazy bastards.

101- I totally empathize with you. I grew up below the poverty line in conditions most people think are third-world-country standard. And listening to some people on the internet is like a cold bucket of water. One that kinda makes me feel guilty about how I grew up.
