Yes, thank you. I realize that. Although I was never aware that personality had anything to do with who topped who. I always thought it had to do with who wanted what within a relationship. Apparently I'm wrong, though, or so fandom has made me believe.

And excuse me for preferring Yuuri to be on top in a fictional relationship that can't even be considered a "relationship" in the first place. I'll make sure to keep my opinions to myself next time, since apparently my expressing them is not to your liking.

I'm not in such a dire situation like you, but I'm unemployed, no fucking company will hire me despite the fact that I have a college degree by a decent college in a field that's comparatively "hot", and I never had money to support my hobbies legally. Please friend me. I think we'd have a LOT to talk about. I'm currently limping my way though Twilight. I've assigned it to myself to read just to see why so many people love it. Even older women at the bookstore I work at.
1.) I think the iconic covers are a stroke of genius. Also, I'm about 98% certain that the apple cover was also used for the cover of a C.S Lewis book on religion. (One of my greatest fears is publishing and then getting some horrific cover)

110 I think drawing other people's characters helps me, because I can get stumped for ideas when all I draw are my characters. And it gives me a needed change of pace. I do sometimes think about the fact that nobody cares about anything I draw aside from my fanart, probably, but then I realize that nobody cares about the characters I tend to draw fanart of, either.
117 I don't know the fandom, sorry. But I totally relate. Usually when I get really into a male character it's because I admire those qualities and want them for myself, and the qualities I admire in all people tend to be "masculine" ones. I don't think this means anything in terms of your gender identity and sexual orientation, it's mostly that certain personality traits tend to be viewed through the lens of gender, whether we like it or not. For example, being "rugged" shouldn't necessarily be a trait defined as solely masculine, if you think about it. Sorry for the tl;dr, but yeah... I kind of relate.

I have felt like that a lot, too. Every friend I have in fandom is middle high to high class. We have always been rather poor at home even now with my own job and all because I'm not qualified and get a very meagre pay. I feel very miserable, sometimes.

I'm pretty okay to do with money, and I buy all of my clothing at Wal-Mart, or second hand places. Why spend $30 on a t-shirt I can buy for $5? Don't worry about it.
