138. that might be funny if- well, no, actually, thats never funny. but maybe i'm just one of few who has respect for the dead anymore, particularly when said dead person was, for all intents and purposes and in the grand scheme of things, relatively innocent and very talented. then again, i'm saddened by all the death that you hear about on the news, so maybe thats just me, since clearly just as many people are willing to make fun of him for a tragic death as they are to grieve over him. its sad to see what the world is coming to nowadays.

I'm so ridiculously late to the game, but to whoever wants to make Forbidden Game trilogy into a movie: all the props and support to you. I'd be there on opening night paying insanely high movie prices, and going a few times to see. I'm not sure any version can live up to the one that was in my head though, nor anybody compare to how I pictured Julian. I loved those books, and omg did I love him - I would hit that. Why wasn't he chosen in the books, why.

Yes, I am well into my 20's, and I still remember so many of her books - I think I owned about 95% of them.

And all they are is memories - when I moved out, I had left them behind, and they were subsequently disposed of. Now I'm depressed again that I can't find them in any store /rant.

Anyways, yes, anything that brings LJ Smith books back into prominence is a good thing. Forget any sparkly vampires, her sci-fi stuff pwned it all
